Chapter 4: Suprise!

My mind woke up before my body. I felt a bed, it was soft and comfortable. A soft fuzzy blanket placed over me, but my head...it was resting something, i couldn't quite make out what it was. Finally when i could move, my body finally decided to wake up, my eyes slowly opened to a slightly dark room, only lit by a small lamp on a bed side table. i tried to sit up, my mind instantly going fuzzy and making me extremely dizzy,i groaned and laid back down

" you scared the life out of me rose! are you okay? what happened?" he carefully lifted me up, partially cradling me in his arms

"I..i don't know...i feel sick...i didn't..i didn't eat lunch..but i skip lunch often..i..i don't know what happened mitch..." I kept my eyes closed as i rest against him

"I'm sorry darling...can i try and help you feel better? the best i know how? it's weird but you have to trust me.." he spoke softly as he gently stood up and laid me flat on the bed

" Please...anything to take the fuzziness and the sick feeling away...i..i trust you" i spoke very quietly, hoping he could hear me"

" Just tell me where it hurts darling and i'll fix you right up" he spoke in a half playful, half serious manner.

"My..My head..it's fuzzy feeling and....and my stomach...i feel sick" After i spoke he was quiet, what he did next slightly surprised me. i felt the bed beside me dip a bit. the next thing i felt was a pair of lips. on my forehead, the spot where his lips met my skin started feeling warm and kinda tingly, as all the fuzziness slowly faded away.

" okay, now imma fix your stomach okay honey?, just stay still and trust me" he proceeded to lift up my shirt, to only reveal my stomach, and did the same thing, placing his lips to my skin, which started to feel warm and tingly, causing the sick feelings to fade.

"How...how did you do that?" i asked as he sat up and pulled me into his lap again

"Magic darling" he smiled and winked playfully, making me groan.

" i'm serious mitch! i wanna know.." i smiled at him and giggled slightly at his playfulness

" Fine, fine fine, Since you are half angel, i can heal you, people with some amount of a supernatural blood in them, can be healed by me, or other demons with this power"

I nodded " Alright,cool, so....um...where are we?" i looked around, it was a room i'd never seen before, black walls and white carpet, there wasn't anything on the walls except for a picture here and there.

"Oh, this is my room..we're...at my house..if that's okay.." he spoke nervously

" Oh..it's fine, i was just curious" I carefully stood up and walked around the room, looking at the few decorations he had " I like how you have it decorated, not too over the top, but not too boring, i like it"

"T-Thanks, come lay down and rest, please?" his voice sounded genuinely concerned, so i did, i walked over to his bed and layed down next to him again.

"Can...Can i ask you something?" i spoke quietly, staring at the ceiling

"Of course Darling, what is it?" He looked down at me, and for a moment i was silent, getting lost in his beautiful eyes, the eyes of a man with a dark past, a mysterious present and a possibly scary future, what i did next, i don't know why i did it.. i gently leaned up, placing my lips on his in a soft kiss, at first he was frozen, his lips cold, but slowly they warmed up and he kissed me back. After a few short moments that felt like a full minute, i laid my head back on the bed, completely dazed

"I...I don't know what came over me...I...Im...Im sorry" i blushed bright red, extremely embarrassed, i rolled over and hid my face in the bed beneath me

He stayed silent for a moment, then spoke quietly, " It's okay beautiful, you just caught me off guard, i'm supposed to be the one to catch you off guard, you threw me off, in a good way" He gently pulled me over so i was laying on my back again, pulling me a bit more so my head was on his lap

I smirked playfully and winked " Surprise i guess" i giggled and smiled at him, admiring his amazing half smile

" So did you have a real question or did you just wanna kiss me?" he asked playfully smirking down at me

" I had a question!.. Where you always a demon? or where you human once?" i spoke quietly, looking up at him

"I..Iv always had demon blood in me.. i was once half Human Half Demon, and i was turned a full demon when i was about 18, so i look young because i age slowly, i was turned at 18, and i guess in human years i would be about 20 now, but i still look the same when i was 18"

"Ahh..How do you change? You said i can be changed to either a human, angel or a demon..how does that work?" I was trying to clear my mind

"Ah, well darling, i don't know how the full human change happens, or the angel, but i know the demon conversion, you have to be injected with demon blood, while slight corruption can happen, it cannot fully transform you without the Demon blood in your veins, and the necklace saves you from corruption, so i can't corrupt and hurt you, even if i tried/wanted to, which i would never want to do, in a million years... i don't want to hurt you, i would rather die" his voice very serious as he finished speaking, staring into my eyes

"Now, how about you get some rest my darling, you've had a rough day and alot to take in, ill be here to protect you i promise" he smiled slightly and leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on my lips as i slowly drifted to sleep
