When I stepped out into the warm air from the cold in the science room I had two things on my mind penguins and what class I have next. Okay, you are either thinking you I ripped off The Outsiders begining, I changed it so I didn't, or why was I thinking about penguins? Ever heard of The March of the Penguins, you probably slept through most of it if unless you're like me I would never do that, but this year all of 8th grade to watch that. Science is my last class of the day, so I get to head home! Oh sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Dylan Marie Lawrence I'm thirteen years old. I'm not the kind of girl who will fan girl, get her nails done, or whatever. I'm not like most girls I have a different personality than others sometimes I wonder if I have ADD or ADHD, and I also have brother's, my brother is Trenton, sense of humor. Oh, wait I need to tell you about the rest of my family, my dad's name is Roger, my mom's name is Jennifer, and my parents aren't together, so yeah. Also, I'm just going to tell you now I'm not gonna make you cry over some romantic junk like half of the teen complications now a days these is serious shezz.

"Mom!" I said as I trudged up the stairs from school after walking home from school alone, "What time do I have dance?" Mom responded with "The same time as always!" Dylan never wanted to think about the fact that she wasn't the best dancer, but she loved to dance. I went to my room to get dance clothes: zebra print spandex (my fav), capri tights, a leotard, and sweatpants. Tonight was team night, the night I have have classes for competition routines. It was the last practice before Rainbow Talent competition, "I hope I have time to go through my solo tonight," Dylan thought aloud. "Dyllie you will have plenty of time to do your lyrical solo," her mom responded. They headed downstairs to go to the car. One thing you should know about me would be that I always sit in the backseat, but today I thought I'm thirteen I can sit up front. Mom started telling me about how we'll be staying in a hotel with an indoor waterpark. I was so excited and I couldn't hide it! Also, many of my dance friends: Nicole, Ryann, Jessica, and Taycee, were staying in that hotel too. My excitement ended because I didn't have a swimsuit. "Mom that would be great to hang out in, but I don't have a swimsuit," I said. "I guess we can stop a Sam-Mart," she responded. "Wow!" Mom said, "I didn't think it was supposed to snow this much today."

Dance was intense that night. In our technique class we had to do a twenty minute ab workout, in the other classes we ran our dances like crazy. I didn't do too shabby tonight. I even did my solo twice and it went fantastic. Of course, we talk to my dance teachers before we left. We headed to Sam-Mart. I found an extremely cute tankini that was zebra print. Mom and I left Sam-Mart, which is extremely classy. When we left it was snowing, not just snowing almost blizzard conditions. We plied our stuff in the car. We made it halfway to town and the next thing I remembered was the snow pelting the windshield, the roads being covered with wet and slippery snow, and the sudden move of headlights in front of the car that made it hurdling towards our suburban. The sound of metal being smashed. Then black.
