The tall building loomed in front of Matt and he shuddered weakly. He didn't really like being so close to the Morningstar tower without having some of his gang with him. He wasn't a fighter so he was vulnerable to whatever when he was alone, but he felt safer being in Morningstar territory than he did being in Luchadore territory.

Matt shook his head to clear the thoughts and walked into the building. Loren had called a meeting with them to discuss how they'd deal with the Saints threat. They had already taken a Morningstar base and it wouldn't be long before they went after Loren himself or the other two gangs in the Syndicate. It was a rather unnerving thought for him, but he knew he could take them. His Deckers could handle the Saints.

He said hello to a few of the Morningstar specialists and made his way to the elevator. He pressed the floor that the meeting room was on and waited as it moved up. He really hoped that he was late so that he didn't have to stay in the same room as Killbane for a long period of time. Just thinking about the wrestler made his insides churn with uneasiness.

Matt had had his fair share of being thrown around by the wrestler after saying the wrong thing or being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He knew it was just an intimidation tactic, but it worked extremely well because after knowing Killbane for less than a year Matt was already petrified of the color green. He could hardly walk through the city without being terrified of a man slightly bigger than him wearing a green shirt or jacket. He hated it.

Matt let out a soft groan and looked at his phone just as the elevator stopped and opened up. Matt stepped out and made his way to the meeting room. He managed to say hi to more Morningstar then he entered the large meeting room.

Sure enough he was the only one in there and he sighed with relief. He walked around the large table and sat down in a chair that was farther away from the door. He looked at his phone and got onto his fanfiction. Sure enough it was getting more reads by the minute and he smiled happily.

Heh... At least internet people love me... He thought to himself as he replied to one of the comments.

He sat there in utter silence until he heard the doors open again and he glanced up, hoping to see Loren and the twins walk in, but instead it was Killbane who walked in. Matt felt his stomach do a flip then he sank down in his chair.

You've got to be kidding me...

Killbane glanced at him and he grinned slightly.

"Hey Matty. Didn't expect to see you here to early." He said smoothly, taking a few steps toward him.

Matt forced his nerves down and tried to smile back but he knew it looked weird so he stopped trying quickly.

"Uh... Yeah... Traffic was... Good..." He said weakly, lowering his gaze slightly.

Killbane nodded slightly.

"Yeah, it was wasn't it." He said calmly.

Matt looked down and shook more. He didn't like where this conversation was going. He glanced up at the door again, hoping Loren came in soon.

"What have you been up to, Matty?"

He winced at the nickname and looked at him nervously.
"Uh... I've been... Doing my normal thing... Hacking and stuff..." Matt said weakly.

Killbane grinned slightly.

"That's all you can do, isn't it?" He asked calmly.

Matt winced a little and looked down. He was saved from replying when the doors opened again and Loren walked in flanked by Viola and Kiki. Matt got to his feet instantly, relief spreading through him. Loren looked at them both.
