Kena's POV

I've been walking for almost two hours,our house is too far away from the city that it takes us one and a half hour even if we're riding a car.

My legs stings so much making me land on my knees and lay down the cold concrete road.Raindrops keep on hitting my face and my whole body;a cold wind brushed my skin sending shivers down my spine.

I am shaking due to the cold atmosphere;soon after that everything went pitch black.

"You think you can escape from me!!?"

I opened my eyes and saw Alex infront of me holding a knife...

"You're on your way to hell but I'm not stupid enough to dig your own grave!"he laughed

He grabbed my hair and placed the knife under my chin. "Who's going to help you now!?Let's play a game...You're going to run and if i catch you you're dead...On the count of three...one...two...three"

THUD

I heard a sound of a door closed with force.I opened my eyes and look around realizing i was inside a car;My heart quickly jump at the thought that my brother might be the one who's driving this car leading me to my own grave.

I got up and look at the driver seat and saw a girl who's really focused on the road.

"Oh!You're finally awake!" she looked at me with a worried face "What happened?You're sweating and you look so pale...Is it hot?Should i turn the AC---" she said while panicking but i cut off her words

"No...No...I..I'm okay" i smiled at her and she nodded and continue to drive "I found you laying on the ground earlier,I thought you might needed some help so I'm on my way to the hospital now" she explained

I looked down at my body and saw my clothes that have been changed,I am now wearing an oversized shirt,shorts and I'm covered with a thick blanket "I cleaned you up and changed your clothes while you're asleep,i put your bag and your used clothes inside the trunk in case you wanna know"

"Uh--Thanks" i smiled as a sign of gratitude

"I'm Victoria...you are?"

"I'm Ken...."i stopped at the thought that I shouldn't tell her my real name.

What if Alex search for me and ask her if she saw me?

"Ken?That's a boys name right?"she chuckled

"Yes...but it isn't my name....I'm Kayzie"i lied but she seems to buy it

"Oh~What a cute name" she talked like she was excited about something "So Kayzie?Where are you going?"

"I just want to get out of here..." i said with a low voice making her confused "I'm going to the Airport" i added;she nodded and insisted to take me there and since I lost our friendly argument I give in.

I looked outside to watch the buildings we're passing by,I sighed knowing that I'm inside the City now.

Our house is too far away from our house and it's really big;for sure it will be difficult for Alex to find me here.

I looked back and smiled "Everything is going as planned" i whispered.Now that I'm far away from Alex i can have the Freedom that I've been wishing for.

My body is too weak to handle Alex anymore;i want to be free from his tight grip...I might die if I won't escape him.

I planned everything,from escaping to dwelling to the farthest country away from here.

Everything...except meeting a stranger.Since my parents gave me their inheritance I've got everything I need now,I don't need Alex anymore...eversince i was born he didn't treat me as his sister so why would I care for him?He's a douchebag anyway.

He can earn Money by selling Drugs like he used to do,he can live without me and I can live without him.

I looked back at the Road and smiled knowing that I'll be free soon.

We stopped at a Gasoline Station "I'm just going to grab some snacks,Wanna come?"

"Yes please;Uhm--Can I get my bag?"she nodded as she goes outside and take out my bag inside the trunk,I got outside and she handled me My bag.

"Let's go"she said while giving me hand gestures for me to come with her inside the Convenience Store and I followed her.

Once we got inside I opened my bag and checked if my things are all there and yes they are!I asked the Guard where the Comfort Room is and he showed me the way,I thanked him and goes to the direction towards the Comfort Room.

I saw Victoria picking up some snacks "Oh!Is there a food you want me to get you?"she smiled brightly as I shook my head "No...I'll be in the Comfort Room" i said and she goes back searching for food and I opened the Comfort Room's door.

It's so beautiful to be a Comfort Room!It has Cubicles with Showers on it!It's really big for a Convenience Store!Oh gosh I look so Ignorant now.

I looked around a bit more until I was satisfied;I faced the Mirror and stared at My face and body,while scanning My body i stopped at My knee covered with bruises and purple spots.

"Well...they'll be gone after all"i sighed,i opened My bag and searched for My wallet.

I wanna know how much money was left there and if I bring all the credit cards that I'll be needing,but sad to say it wasn't there.I searched for it thrice but I still couldn't find it.

Maybe?

What if i dropped it?What if Victoria saw it and opened it?For sure she'll see My real name!How am I going to explain to her if she'll find out that I'm lying about My name?

Should I just tell her that I like Kayzie more than Kena?

Should I tell her that I'm running away from someone?

I quickly gathered up all my things and headed to the door,as soon as I opened it I saw her holding My wallet.

"Hey Kayzie.I was just about to knock because I'm going to give you this" she waved My wallet infront of her face "the guard told me that you dropped this while you we're scanning you bag" she explained and handled me My wallet and thanked her.

"Anyway,you should take a shower here.It's kinda big right?Im going to buy a towel for you just call me when you're done okay?You need to freshen up a little more,cleaning you inside the car wasn't enough so yeah" she said then smiled,i nodded to her and closed the door

I checked My wallet and luckily all my things are all there.I put my bag beside the sink and undress;I headed inside a cubicle and turned the shower on.

Thoughts keeps on running inside my mind just like how the water runs down through my body;after having a shower of thoughts i got out the cubicle,head to the door.I saw Victoria holding a cup of Coffee in her hand while waiting for me and when she noticed that I'm looking at her she got up and handled me the towel she waa talking about,I thanked her again and closed the door.

How kind hearted she was to a stranger like me?I asked myself.

While drying my body,i noticed the bruises I got when I was escaping,for sure Victoria noticed all of this since she cleaned me up but--how come she doesn't ask me anything about these?

"Quit asking" I said to myself and quickly qot dressed
