Xavier's POV

I groaned as the annoying sound of my alarm went off, waking me from sleep.
'Another day of being one the Red Ash pack's slave, fun' I thought bitterly before quickly jumping in the shower.

After my shower I threw on a simple black T-shirt, black jeans and a pair of black converse. Our Alpha demanded everything had to be perfect today since the most powerful pack in the werewolf world, the Imperial Moon pack, was visiting. Well, only the Alpha, the Alpha's daughter and their Beta were coming but he still wanted everything in check.

I made my way down to the pack house's kitchen when I realized that Ryan and his idiot friends were in there. Ryan was the gamma's son but he acted as if he was the Alpha. "Hey look guys! It's Xavier," Ryan smirked walked over to me "Get me a drink now, my throat is a little dry." I clenched my jaw and ignored him, brushing past him and walked towards the fridge.

"Ryan, Cody, Scott. Leave the kitchen so the Omega can sort the food out for the Imperial Moon pack." Alpha Kyle said in a bored voice. The 3 idiots mumbled in protest but left the kitchen, thank the moon goddess.

By 12pm I had all the food set out on the table for the Imperial Moon pack. Luckily they were coming at 1pm so I had time to relax before I was ordered around again. I started to walk to my room when a familiar red head popped out infront of me "Hey Nyssa," I smiled and continued to walk, Nyssa following behind me.

Nyssa and I had been friends since we were 8. With me and her being Omegas we were outcasts at school so we met there and we've been friends since. 2 years ago, when we were 17, she admitted she had feelings for me but I didn't want to be with anyone else but my mate. She understood and let it go, or so I hoped.

"Hey Xavier, excited for the Imperial pack coming?" She asked, her ginger curls bouncing on her shoulders as she cheerfully walked beside me. "Not really since I'll probably get ordered around more," I partly joked. Nyssa smiled and rolled in her eyes at me. "True, at least it'll keep you away from Ryan, dumb and dumber." She winked and stopped walking when we reached outside my door. I chuckled and opened my door "See you later Nyssa," I waved, she waved and retreated back down the hall.

"Xavier!" I jumped slightly as Alpha Kyle shouted my name. "Yes sir?" I replied. "Go get 4 drinks please, lemonade or coke should do" he said and waved me away. I mentally growled but nodded, rushing into the kitchen. I (not so professionally) carried the drinks up the stairs to the Alpha's meeting room. As I reached the top step a alluring scent hit my nose. I could feel my wolf perk up at the smell. It was chocolate and roses which smelt amazing. I shrugged 'The Alpha probably has other food in the meeting room' I thought.

But the closer I got the more stronger the scent got. I brushed it off and opened the door to the meeting. "Alpha Kyle, I brought-" My eyes widened when I saw the most gorgeous girl ever sat at one end of the table. Her sapphire blue eyes met my chocolate ones and I'm pretty sure that time briefly stopped as everything around me froze and became none existant.

'Mate!' My wolf barked and started to pace and jump around. 'She's our mate' I thought dumbfounded that she was made for me. "Omega? Is there something wrong" Alpha Kyle asked, irritation lacing his voice. "N-No! Sorry sir, I brought the drinks you asked for" I stuttered, placing them on the table. He nodded and waved his hands "You may leave now, Omega."

I cringed when he said Omega. I looked up at my mate, I was quite shocked to see her already staring back at me. She caught my gaze and smiled softly at me before looking away. I bowed my head in respect before, clumsily, leaving the room.

"Holy shit" I breathed out when I shut the door. I can't believe my mate is a future female Alpha! Wait, what would that me? A Luna?! Or would I be an Alpha? What if she rejects me because I'm an Omega? I shook my head and tried to get the thought of my mate rejecting me out of my head.

My jumped when felt buzzing in my pocket. I relaxed when I realized it was my phone. Stupid. I pulled it out and saw that it was my 3pm alarm.

Search for Kayta, was the alarm label.

I sighed sadly and quickly ran down the stairs and out the pack house. 'I'm sure Alpha can ask another Omega to answer his beck and call' I thought as I my bone started to crack. I shifted into my wolf, River. I bolted into the woods and started to search for my sister, for over the thousandth time.
