Xavier's POV

Finally back from the pointless search, I dragged myself inside the Pack House. The large staircase in front of me grinned cruelly, and even though it's impossible it seemed to get bigger and bigger. I sighed, ran my hands through my hair, and pulled myself tiredly to the stairs. My legs ached after the fruitless hunt for my sister Kayta, who had gone missing 2 years ago.

After climbing 7 flights of stairs, I finally reached the attic. Groaning loudly, I reached my arms up, and flipped open the hatchet. I thrust my arms through the narrow hole, and pulled myself up. Most people wondered how I had abs, being an omega and not having permission to train, but pulling myself up into my attic for the past 3 years works up some muscles.

I lowered myself carefully onto the fragile worn wood, cringing and freezing abruptly when it creaked. I sighed as I looked around the dusty, dark and damp cage, hoping that Ryan and his idiot friends hadn't been in to sabotage what I have. Thankfully, they hadn't. Nothing has changed since Kayta left. Everything is exactly the same. The same idiotic pack, bullying me 24/7, the same tower of dirty blankets, piled high to feel like a mattress, the same small pile of clothes, tucked away in the corner of the room, the same life- the life that I hate.

My arms throbbing with pain, I picked myself up and traipsed into the bathroom, to wash off all the dried mud sticking to my tanned skin.

----------

Coming out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped loosely around my waist, my thoughts were consumed with my mate. The soon to be Alpha Female of The Imperial Pack. She's a strong, dominant female, and I'm a weak, pathetic Omega. Will she reject me? She could be my ticket out of this pack. The best thing that ever happened to me.
Her alluring scent below the trap door pulled me out of my thoughts. My head snapped up in surprise, and I whizzed around the room, pulling on clothing as I went.
"Open the door, mate!" She growled loudly, telling me that she was irritated with me.
'Open the goddamn door-'
'No!' I cut off my wolf, Chamber. 'I don't know if I'll be able to control myself.'
"Open the fücking door, or I'll knock it down!" She shouted, rapping on the thin wood.
Just as I was about to make my first step towards the trap door, she pushed it open and pulled herself in. She looked up, her stunning green eyes meeting mine. She smiled softly, and carelessly lowered herself onto the wood. Standing on her feet, she came to just under my chin, and as she took a small step towards me, the wood she was standing on snapped, sending my beautiful mate toppling backwards.
My eyes widened as I lunged forwards, wrapping my arms firmly around her waist to stop her in her fall. My hands on her bare skin made her shiver and me smirk, unlike anything I've ever done before, I smirked! Her eyes were lowered looking at my chest- I pulled my hand free, gently grabbed her chin, and pulled it up, so she'd look me in the eyes.
"What's your name?" I whispered, putting my mouth to her ear.
"Sariya," she boldly said, her minty breath stroking my face. "And you're Xavier, omega of the Red Ash Pack."
I raised my eyebrow at her, and she shrugged. "My father made me learn everyone's names 3 years ago," she said as an explanation.
"Are you going to reject me?" I asked.
Her glistening blue eyes widened in shock.
"Sariya?" Her fathers voice called her from below.
"Coming Daddy," she said over her shoulder, all the while keeping eye contact with me. I pulled her up, after realising that I was still dipping her, and reluctantly released her from my grip. She took a step backwards carefully, turned, and took a few steps. Just in front of the trap door, she turned and whispered- knowing full well that I could hear her- "No."
My heard swelled up with love, even though I had only know her for a few hours. I grinned softly as my thoughts drowned in her. Thinking about how wonderful it would be to push my lips up against hers, to run my tongue along her neck, to-
'Stop!' Groaned Chamber. 'We should probably wait until we went back to her home and got accepted into the Imperial Pack. That I can't wait for. Leaving this pack and joining another. Finally being away from Kyle and everyone here that had bullied me for years.
But what if Kayta came back while I left. Everyone here is too cruel and hates me too much to tell her where I could have gone, and even for the fact that she's related to me could give them an excuse to kill her.
She used to be the thing that kept me going. My sister. She went missing 2 years ago- she was 15 then. The pack sent out search parties for 3 weeks, before they decided that there was no point and she meant nothing to the pack anyway.
"Hey," someone exclaimed behind me, placing their small, warm hands on my shoulder. In shock, I pulled the intruder over my shoulder and stood in a defensive position, before realising who it was and rushing to her aid.
"Nyssa!" I exclaimed in shock, "Sorry about that."
*A/N in my head I heard Hagrid off Harry Potter saying that*
"Hey, it's fine, don't worry about it," she grinned happily, taking my outstretched hand and pulling herself up. "What were you thinking about anyway?"
"My mate," I admitted contentely, sitting on the blankets and resting my chin on my hands (that we're resting on my knees).
"What? Who? Since when?" she shouted.
"The Alpha Female of the Imperial Pack," I sighed dreamily.
"That little bitch," I heard Nyssa mutter under her breath. Raising my head in shock, I looked into her blue eyes shining with hatred.
I didn't like what I saw there.
I saw the anger of a mad woman.
