Every day when I was young and went outside to go to school there was always a little boy sitting on the front steps of the neighbor's house. He was always singing a song," wherever you go is where I go, you can never separate us." It didn't matter if it was sunny, rainy or cloudy. He was always there, singing while staring at the sky like he was yearning for something.
One day I finally got the courage to go and say hello. When I got near he didn't react at all, it was like he was in another world. His eyes looked pure silver and gold. When I said hello he stopped singing, looked around then looked at me and said," who me." Angrily I said,"yes you ,who else would I be talking to." Surprise he says," wait you can see me!" And then he looked me straight In the eye and said," Hi my name is Husky, what's yours!" Confused I said," it's
Yasutake." He than said," Great now you can help me get the destiny gem and save my sister." I didn't know then but it made a big change in my life.
The next moment I woke up sitting next to Husky in a cave. I got up and said," where am I." Husky said," Oh, you're on Gliese." Surprised I said," what, I don't even think that's a country!" "It's not, it's a world of beauty and nature" Husky said. When he said that I almost fainted. I asked him," Wait, are we still on planet earth!?" Husky said," Of course not didn't I tell you we are on Gliese!" I asked," so what am I doing here again?" "You're here to help me get the gem of destiny or what I call it, the destiny gem and save my sister remember!" Husky said.
I replied," so why do I have to do it. It's not like it's rare to find people walking down the street. You could even ask a police officer I mean come on why does it have to be me." Husky said in return," Out of everyone else you're the only one who noticed me And that shows you have a kind heart. I need a kindhearted person to help me and someone who doesn't give up no matter what. Just by looking into your eyes I can see how much you care for people. Now be quiet, there's a guard coming." I looked behind me and there was a half man half boar right there with a flashlight. You didn't see me but I almost screamed my head off when I saw him.
I could tell he was looking for something but I didn't know what. Then I thought he must be looking for us. Now that my eyes were adjusted I looked around to see what was there. I noticed that I was wearing a shield and a sword and Husky had a giant staff. I noticed that I was just up in light armor and Husky was dressed in a black robe. It felt like something from a fairytale but in real life. Husky said," Yasutake there is a hole that we can escape through here, lets go. Oh and if you need to protect yourself use your magical sword." Before I could answer he escaped through the hole.
When we finally got out we are in a town with of half man half beast. Husky told me to follow him and do it as quickly as possible. I followed him out of town into the desert. The desert was full of man eating reptiles the size whales. Every time we saw one Husky would just wave his staff and the monster would be incinerated. I pretended like that was nothing, but I really had no idea what I was doing.
When we finally got out of the desert there was a string of mountains. There are so many I couldn't even count. When Husky said we had to climb one I I nearly just raised my hand and said I quit. Instead I said," Why do I have to do this for you it's not like I even know you or anything I could just walk away right now and you could save your sister all by yourself." Husky replied," Yes, and that's the reason I chose you Because I could tell that you'd never be able to do that." Even though I said it wasn't I know it was true.
When we finally got to the top there was a baby dragon waiting for us. Then Husky said," I don't remember there being a dragon nest here?" I looked at the Dragon and started staring at me. I looked up and the landscape was full of forests ridges and swamps. I sighed and said," Oh well at least you can't get any worse." Suddenly a dragon came out of nowhere and attacked us. I instinctively took out my sword and held it up at the dragon. The sword suddenly set ablaze and stabbed the dragon through the heart.
Husky suddenly looked very mad and said," Great job Yasutake now the Dragon doesn't have a parent anymore so what are we you going to do with it now. I replied,"Well it doesn't matter let's go already. Than I ran down the hill before he could complain. After we left the baby dragon fell down the hill and died. Finally, I asked the obvious question and said," where are we going?" "We are going to the Tower of destiny of course!" I thought to myself,"Well I didn't think it was that obvious."
We started walking through the forest and I started to think about the song he was always singing. I asked," Why were you always singing that song?" He replied," Well, my sister taught it to me and we used to sing it all the time." I asked,"How are you going to save your sister with this gem of destiny?" Husky replied," My sister was trapped in Gliese a long time ago when she first figured out how to get there. She was 16 and I was 13 at the time. My sister and I bumped into some liquids and they spilled all over the floor. And when we touched it it sent us here. We walked around for a a while and then we were jumped. My sister was kidnapped and they wanted a ransom. They said they wanted the gem of destiny or they would never give me my sister back. So I gave into their deal. It has been a year but I still haven't given up hope."
When he finished the story we had already made it out of the forest and into the town. Just like the last one there were no full humans in this town either. I followed Husky to a restaurant. The food looked weird but it tasted good. Like the last town we got out as quickly as possible after we went to the restaurant. After we got got out of town we went to a mile-long ravine. The only way across was a thin shaky bridge. We made sure to go slow and steady, but when the bridge started to collapse we started to run as fast as we could. When we got to the other side I was out of breath.
We are able to make it past the forest, mountain and ravine and the next obstacle seamed like a break to it all; it wasn't. There was an old abandoned building in front of us, it was very tall. The thing that Husky didn't tell me was it was full of monsters. The first and second floors look like old apartment buildings, but the third and fourth floors were full of man-eating reptiles you could eat you whole. The fifth floor had a great Bright Light coming from above it made me feel all warm inside.
The gem was on the sixth floor it shined like all the colors of the rainbow. When husky picked up the gem we heard a big rumbling sound coming from outside. Monsters were flooding all of Gliese. I looked at Husky and he had a great evil grin on his face. Huskies mind had been taken over by the destiny Crystal. He didn't want to save his sister he wanted to destroy Gliese! I had to stop him, but I didn't know what to do! I finally just pulled out my sword and swung it at him. He saw it coming so he put a protective barrier around himself so I couldn't harm him, but the sword went right through the barrier and cut him in half.
Something that looked like an angel came down and picked up the two halves of Husky. The angel carried him back up with her. I noticed the angel looked a lot like husky but it was a girl. Now that I think about it I think it was his sister. I looked outside and all the monsters came into the Tower of destiny. The angel came back down and said, " Thank you for sending my brother free Yasutake." The next moment I was sitting on my neighbors steps looking at the sky. I looked around and Husky wasn't there. All of the sudden Husky walked out of the house with what looked like the angel. I then knew what I had done, smiled and went to school.
Of coarse there was one thing that was different. I had a baby dragon following me around everywhere. Nobody could see it except me and husky but it made sure we never forgot the journeys that we had made.
