3 Weeks passed by and Damien should be waking soon. I walked to his room to check on him, I grabbed the door nob turning it as it squeaked as if it were screaming in pain. I walked in his room I could see Damien still asleep his extremely pale skin now showed in the dark. He was hand some...dreamy to the very eye of every human girl or women. His eyes quickly opened completely black then slowly changing back to his original baby blue eyes, he slowly looked sat up looking around in his pitch black room, as if he were a newborn baby seeing the world for the first time.
"So this is what it's like" Damien said as he stood up
'Matt' i sent a mental message as Matt walked into the room.
"He needs to eat...before he attacks his own father and brother". Matt nodded in agreement and Damien followed Matt as they left to feed. Bored out of my mind i started to walk toward my room, closing my door behind me as i sat on my bed thinking about the life of 'loneliness' I've left behind at my mothers 'I will return soon mom' i thought to myself as i looked at the ceiling i closed my eyes to forget the time.
Few hours passed i began to get bored I slowly approached my window moving the black curtain just enough for me to see out. It was dark out still which made me less worried about being so close to the window, I could see the woods in the distance it's tall red oak trees stood out like a sore thumb against the sky whether it was dark out or not. I started to fiddle with my mark trying to figure out what i want to do. Skew this I quickly got up, and opened my window and jumped out softly hitting the floor on my toes. I ran into the woods till I was near a creek. this is where I belong. The smell of dirt, trees in the air, the breeze so live and chilling. If I still had the sensory part that humans do. I leaned against a nearby tree "So beautiful indeed..yet you can be just as deadly as I in your own way.. It's amazing" I said as I let out a deep breath.
"I knew you would be out here... one of many things I've learned about you" Matt said calmly as he sat next to me.
"Yeah it's one of the things I could never get rid of..isn't it just wonderful" i sighed "If only she could see... she'd agree to" Matt looked at me curiously.
"You hide things...why?" Matt asked as he starred at me.
"I've never been good at expressing my feelings..It's one of my flaws even as a vampire I guess, I guess you could say I've built a wall up so I don't get any surprises that are not welcomed." i began to fiddle with a nearby twig.
"You really are interesting... anyway we got ta big day tomorrow" He said as he clapped his hands together and stood up.
"What's tomorrow"
"School...remember the promise you made"
"ah right the promise" I said sadly
"It'll be a completely new school...they wont even know anyone their either" Matt said as he grabbed my hand as I stood up. He was much taller than me since i'm 5'0 flat, which sucks but I do have to admit I have a lot of fun with jumps and stuff the fact that i'm short the distances are much more dramatic than to someone much more taller than I.
"Well sounds like fun... I guess" I said trying to search for the right words.
"Think positive about it okay." He said as we walked back.
"So how was the hunt" I said calmly.
"It was great..we had a long conversation as well" he said shaking his head as we started to approach the front door and began to proceed to the stairs , then into the hallway I abruptly stopped to look at him
"What talk?" I asked curiously
"I'll say in the room okay." He said as he opened my bedroom door, gesturing for me to enter. I quickly walked in as he closed the door behind him. "Upon my understanding...he knows quite a lot about you and wants that 'bond' again" he said as I sat down on the bed.
"What bond?" I tuned my head curiously like how a puppy turns his head sideways when he sees something new for the first time.
"He said he saw a lot of things...more hurt than anything...he also said your blood is just all he really craves." He said as he stared at me I laid back onto the bed.
"Well that's interesting but I don't really care.. I cant' " I said calmly
"I know " He said as he laid next to me.
"Do you want to see..my past..you will feel excruciating pain toward the end." I said calmly as I held out my wrist, he quickly seeped his fangs into it piercing my veins sending excitement chills through out my body. I started with the image of when I was born, to when I was growing up to the day she had died, it wasn't an easy death she put up the best fight sh had within her delicate self, it was a fight of survival but most of all to save her daughter. The memories had ended with how I felt the pain, loss the desire of wanting to be with her once more. The killing spree I went on the ache my Vampire soul felt, emptiness, agony and the hatred. He slowly pulled away after sensing the petite human who's in bars cried at those thoughts and what she hoped to receive like a simple hug, being told that everything will be okay .
"Now you see" I said calmly as the wound began to heal, I let myself relax "He didn't' even see all of what you saw " I closed my eyes regretting ever showing him it.
"I had no idea that's how you felt..and your past.." I quickly cut him off
"It's in the past now let it stay there" he nodded in agreement, even though I still could never do so.
