Unexpected

-Becka when shes 9-

"I'll see you tomorrow Raul" I say waving at my BestFriend as I walk back in to my house.

I quickly and quietly shut the door behind me. I look around the small,plain living room and frown when I don't see my big sister Angie anywhere.

Passing by my uncles room I hear a familiar voice. "No uncle please..your hurting me,please get off of me." I'm frozen in place when her words make it to my ears. Hurting her?why was uncle hurting Angie?

Getting ready to open the door to my uncles room my blood suddenly runs cold hearing what he says next. "Shut up! Im not even your Uncle! Now quit struggling!"

That bastard how dare he lie to us! I quietly open his door and my heart stops at the sight of my "uncle" on top of Angie pulling her pants down. How dare he touch her! F**king creep!

Immediately running to my room I grab my metal baseball bat. Racing back to his room I raise the bat over the back of his head. "Get off of my sister!l I scream while swinging the bat with all the force I could muster up.

*Smack*

the sound of metal connecting with bone and sobbing is all that's herd in the room.

Pushing his slumbed form off of Angie and hitting him again I finally glance at Angie.

"Angie are you ok?" I say as my gaze lands on the trickle of blood running down the side of his head and onto the floor.

"He lied, hes not our uncle.. He tried to rape me" she quietly says forcing me to look at the tear stained,hazel eyed girl sitting up in front of me.

"Come on Angie go pack us some clothes and a blanket, we are not staying her anymore" I say grabbing her hand and dragging her into our room. She silently nods and starts stuffing her clothes into her favorite pokemon backpack.

While I walk back into Migels room grabbing his wallet and pocketing his money. Making sure to toss his empty wallet back onto his unmoving body I quickly walk into the green tiled kitchen.

Packing some food into a beige clothed shopping bag. I walk into the living room clutching onto the bag. Angie soon appears with two backpacks and her plush pikachu blanket wrapped around her shaking form. Stuffing the shopping bag into my hot wheels backpack and placing my bat into the side pocket. I silently put my backpack on while grabbing onto Angies warm shaky hand and walking out..not bothering to look back.

We silently walk around the block looking straight ahead. Passing by a group of guys that are sitting on the steps of a house,wearing blue bandanas with baggy clothes.

"Hey! What are you two doing walking around all by yourselfs? You know the streets are dangerouse at night" says a rough voice from the group behind us. Ignoring them I tug Angie along,but immediately stop when I hear footsteps coming up behind us.

Quickly spin around and pulling Angie behind me. I narrow my eyes on the 5 guys standing a few feet in front of us.

"Can I help you?" I growl out as I lock eyes with the boy in the middle obviously the leader. "oooo we got ourselves a little she-wolf here guys,what do you guys say? Should we show esta nina some manners?" he says smirking at me while his friends start to chuckle beside him.

Pushing Angie further behind me I reach for my bat. My hand wrapping around the cold slim metal

"eyy man hold up I know this girl" his friend on his left suddenly says.

Looking over at him I notice he looks like an older version of Raul."Your Becky right?" silently nodding at him as realization dawns on me.

"nah man we can't hurt her shes my little brothers BestFriend" xavior says to his friend "Xavior man are you sure?" the blue eyed boy says, looking at me with curiosity.

"yea man my brother never shuts up about how fast she is at running and how she beats everyone" xavior says smiling at me. The leader suddenly smiles at me

"so you can run huh". "yea shes really fast,faster than most of my friends too!" I hear Angie say as she looks over my shoulder.

"Well since it looks like you two need a place to stay how about you help me out? And In return I'll give you two a place to stay." "What exactly will I be doing for you?" I ask letting my curiousity get the best of me."Well.."he says changing his smile into a smirk

" you'll be helping us steal some things and you will be the one running with the things back to the house." "Will my sister be safe?" I ask glancing over my shoulder towards the brunette behind,me.

"Ofcourse! She will be under our protection and she wont have to do anything..so what do you say?deal?" He says while sticking his hand out for me to shake. Looking over at Angie and seeing her tear stained cheeks and red puffy eyes my mind is made up. Grabbing his outstretched hand I look him straight in the eyes

"you have a deal".
