At this point it was around 7pm, and we still had not left the conversation, excluding getting food water or showers, and things were even more serious. At every chance one of us had something complimentary to say. (I'll admit I said a lot more, but looking at both of us you'd understand why, considering she may as well model while I sit in the trash) i was set on impressing her, she was gorgeous, and I was falling...
Within hours I felt too confident for my own good, I was feeling above and beyond anything I'd felt before, and I was ready to take the leap of faith, so I did. We spoke about perfect dates before I went through with it
Karl: maybe I could take you on your perfect date someday
Alex: maybe you could
Karl: I'd rather do it as your boyfriend though
Alex: I'd like that :)
At that point I froze, was she serious, was she joking, did she really just say yes, I had to be sure.
Karl: wait, so you mean that, like can it actually happen?
Alex: yes, it can
Karl: and your not joking or playing me around?
Alex: nope
Karl: what if I said I love you
Alex: I love you too
For the first time in months I slept happy, I had a girlfriend, but she was different, she had a sparkle that no one else has. I loved her.
