Author's Note: The original dialogue will start at the eighth paragraph, as the last one. This will probably be my least favorite ending, because of how it will be the least supported in it's ending. I did the best I could!

"I know. You proved that over and over... even though I don't deserve it. I'm so selfish... not like my mom... look what she had to give up and live through...and she did. She deserves so much more than to be killed by a storm in a f****** diner. Even my step... father deserves her alive. There's so many more people in Arcadia Bay who should live way more than me." Chloe said, looking at Max expectantly.

"Don't say that, I won't trade you." Max's resistant answer drove a stake through Chloe's heart.

"You're not trading me, maybe you've just been delaying my real destiny. Look how many times I almost died or actually died around you. Look at what's happened in Arcadia Bay ever since you first saved me. I know I've been selfish but for once I think I should accept my fate... our fate." Chloe tried to reassure Max, but Max was still reluctant to kill her best friend.

"Chloe..." Max couldn't believe her best friend was telling her to kill her.

"Max, you finally came back to me this week, and you did nothing but show me your love and friendship. You made me smile and laugh, like I haven't done in years. Wherever I end up after this... in whatever reality, all those moments between us were real, and they'll always be ours. No matter what you choose, I know you'll make the right decision." Chloe tried to hide how scared she was by acting firm, but it wasn't working.

"Chloe, I can't make this choice." Max replied, depressed that to end this, she might have to kill her best friend.

"No, Max, you're the only one who can." Chloe said with finality.

Max couldn't make this choice, either kill her best friend of kill everyone in Arcadia Bay. It was an impossible decision. But Max couldn't kill thousands for just one person, even if it was Chloe.

"Chloe, I'm sorry it has to be like this. But I can't kill everyone." Max sadly explained her friend's fate.

"I understand. Go. Now, please." Chloe sat on the bench and waited. Max had a plan. Using her newfound knowledge of the events that are going to happen, she vowed to herself she wouldn't use her powers.

Max began to focus onto the photo. In a flash she was back in the bathroom, listening to Nathan. Chloe came in, and checked the stalls, and she didn't find Max. Nathan began brandishing the gun. The moment was soon. Max stepped out of cover and tackled Nathan, then she pulled the gun out of his hands and pointed it at him.

"Nathan. Tell me everything you know about Mr. Jefferson!" Max demanded.

Nathan, startled at Mr. Jefferson's name, said, "How do you know about Mr. Jefferson?"

"I know that you killed Rachel. I know that you were Jefferson's apprentice. I know about the dark room." Max was quiet now, quietly scary. Chloe was standing in the corner, confused as heck.

" Okay! Okay. Don't shoot, I'll confess everything! Is that what you want?" Nathan was sobbing now, scared of the consequences he was going to face.

"I want you to confess... And testify against Mr. Jefferson." Max was fierce, and Nathan didn't stand a chance.

"As the mystery behind the disappearance of Rachel Amber is clearing away, two unlikely suspects are left with a mountain of evidence and life in jail. Mark Jefferson was a teacher and renowned photographer at Blackwell Academy up until he was caught by Head of Security David Madsen. Mr. Madsen, following a confession and accusation by student Nathan Prescott onto Jefferson. A 'dark room' as it was called was found underneath a barn, and pictures of many women were found, including Kate Marsh and Rachel Amber. We are sad to report that Rachel Amber's body has been found in a junkyard. The murder charge was placed onto Nathan Prescott, and many acts of kidnapping and assault have been charged to Mark Jefferson, leaving them both with life sentences, and the hatred of a community on their shoulders. This ends our update on the most moving case in Arcadia Bay history. A viral video of a huge tornado has swept this community too, reaching almost a billion views on YouTube."

Max sat at the diner, pancakes in front of her and Chloe to her right. "You know what? I've been thinking about this. Why? Why Rachel? Why Kate? What about them made Jefferson and Nathan kidnap them?" Chloe asked, blankly staring at the TV.

"I don't think we'll ever know. But let's just be glad they're behind bars." Max replied, eating her pancakes. Other than the obvious change, Jefferson and Prescott behind bars, many things have changed. Kate went from being made fun of, to one of the most loved members of Blackwell.  David, Chloe and Joyce are a family, and Chloe doesn't hate David. A new teacher has been brought in, along with a strict background check policy, and new cameras.  And no tornado... That was the big part. Max had tried to focus on a photo a while ago, and found she couldn't. Her powers had been taken away.  Max's life wasn't strange, it was great.
