Hey guys! This is my continuous story of chapter two. Enjoy!
I finally managed to unwrap my arms around her neck. I breathe in and out slowly and look into my mom's blue eyes. Mom looked at me and asked,
"Are you alright?" I nodded my head. "Can you tell me what's wrong?" While she was wiping my tears away. I knew that I have to tell her sooner rather than later.
"But before I can tell you, can I have a drink? Please?"
"Yes, if you only you will tell me," she answered and I nodded my head. She got up, gave me a kiss, and went downstairs to get the my drink.
While mom is downstairs, I cried a little bit. Why am I so afraid? I thought to myself. I am a ten years old girl and have to cry over a little thing. I know I can be without mom and dad for a while can't I?
Ten minutes later. Knock Knock.
"Come in," I said in a rasp voice. Mom cam in with a drink, which was Green Tea. I was about to take a sip, but mom interrupted,
"So can you tell me now?"
"Uh... Fine. I'll tell you why I was crying if you'll take my words for it. Can you?" I asked. Mom nodded her head and her face looked into mine. I took a breath and began my story.
"Okay it all started when Aunt Lily came to our house. Why is Aunt Lily here, I asked myself." I wasn't looking into my mother so I looked at the blanket. It was royal blue. "So I brought Aunt Lily into the kitchen to see you, dad, Sarah, and Violet. Lily asked questions about out summer, but you answered the questions and that the girls and Henry are going on an adventure. That was when I left the kitchen to go to my room. When I got upstairs, I started to cry and you came to see if everything was okay. Uh..." I explained to mom but she interrupted me and smile in a kind way,
"Okay, get to the point. " I started to have tears in my eyes again. Not only I was crying, but is was also shaking a a little bit like I was cold. I didn't want my mom to look at me with tears coming down my cheeks. But she saw I had tears, so she lifted my head up and I looked at her my face was full of tears.
"What's wrong, honey?" she asked.
"Idontwanttoleaveyou!" I quickly said. Mom looked at me weirdly.
"Sorry didn't catch that." I knew that she couldn't have caught the words.
"I don't want to leave you," I repeated. "Even if it is only for a couple of days and nights. I looked into her face again and saw her looking concern.
"Oh, that's why?" mom asked and I nodded my head. "Oh honey, why didn't you say so in the first place?"
"I didn't want to make it worse and we always go on an adventures together. Even Henry enjoys them," I answered and that was true. We never go on an adventure without them.
"Oh honey, I didn't know. But you have two choices, you can go with your sisters and brother with Lily for a couple of nights or you can stay with me and we'll do something fun. I promise," mom suggested.
"What about dad?" I asked looking at her, full of alert.
"You father is going to be away for a business trip. We didn't want to worry because we were afraid you may cancel the trip," she explained.
"Can I decide this in the morning? I'm kind of tired. Before you go to bed, can you only dad what is reasonable for him to know Okay?" I asked.
"Of course. I'll only tell him what he needs to know," mom answered. "Now goto sleep like you requested. Your sisters are going to stay a little bit later to catch up with, Aunt Lily. Night, sleep well, and don't let the bed bugs bite!" Mom gave me a kiss on the forehead and left the room.
I watched her go out and saw her look back at me, smiling. She turned off the and closed the door, then went downstairs to catch with the rest of the family. It took me five minutes to get my eyes tired out. I was finally able to drift off to sleep.
Chapter three is on its way.
