Chapter One

Lexi's Pov
i sat in class staring at him for almost the entire class period. He must be new, since I've never seen him around. I should probably look away before he catches me. I begin to look away but damn it, it's too late... He caught me staring.
I put my face in my hands for a couple of seconds and looked up to see if he was still watching me and he was. God his eyes were so amazing, and oh my god his hair was flawless, he was so perfect. I stared back at him with an embarrassed expression and he just smiled, so I looked down and pretended to be working. I was waiting for the bell to ring and it finally did, I tried gathering my stuff to leave before he could talk to me but I dropped my stuff. I crouched down to start picking everything up, until another figure crouched in front of me. I looked up to find the one person I didn't want to see. It was him. He smiled at me again, giving me his best dimpled smile and I just looked down beginning to pick up my stuff again and he was helping. I got up and he handed me my stuff. "Thanks" I said bluntly. "No problem, I'm Harry by the way... I saw you staring at me" he said smiling. "Ha uhm, I'm sorry about that, it's just that you're new here and I haven't seen you yet" I said even though I knew it was a lie and I smiled at him shyly. "I'm Lexi". He smiled again and said "Well it's nice to meet you". "Yeah you too Harry". I gave my best smile trying not to look embarrassed, but I'm pretty sure he already noticed. I started to walk out of the class and he called out "See you tomorrow". I turned and smiled "Yeah see you tomorrow".

I rushed to my car because it was the end of the day and unlocked it, I yanked the door open and sat down in the drivers seat. I slammed the door and let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. I looked to my side where the school was to see Harry walking out of the building towards a car, I'm guessing that was his. I started my engine and started to drive out of the school parking lot. After what felt like ten million years I was finally home.

"Hey sweetie, I heard my mom call out from the kitchen as soon as I got in. "Hi mom" I yelled back. "Honey remember that house that was for sale across the street?" She yelled. I walked into the kitchen and said "Uh yeah why?" With a questioning expression. "Well it's been sold so make sure you say hello to the new neighbors". She smiled sweetly. "Okay, I guess I'll go over there now". She turned to look at me stopping whatever she was doing and smiled.

I walked through the front door once again and went across the street. I walked up the walkway and raised my arm and rang the doorbell. It took a couple of seconds for someone to answer so I turned my back looking at some younger kids who were riding there bikes until someone came and opened the door. I turned around with a sweet smile and said "Hi, you must be new to the neighborhood my name is Le-" I stopped when I saw those beautiful eyes of his staring right at me and he finished my sentence "Lexi" and shot me a smile. "Yeah ha, you remembered" I scratched the back of my neck and half smiled. "Well looks like you're new to the neighborhood, if you want a friend I'm across the street" I said with an uneasy look. "Yeah, thanks I could really use one" his smile grew and I began getting nervous. "Okay, I'll see you soon Harry" I said and turned to walk away. "Uh, Lexi wait a minute" I turned around with a confused expression and said "Yeah?" He looked at me shyly and said "Can I have uh your uhm number?" I looked at him and walked back to him and he said "Ya know just incase I need you" he looked at his palms nervously and I said "Sure" with a small smile. He handed me his phone so I punched my number in and added myself as a contact. "Thanks" he said. "Anytime, bye Harry" I said. "Bye Lexi" he said back. I walked back across the street with a smile on my face. Gosh why was he so darn cute? I kept questioning myself. I guess you could say I had a small crush.

I took a shower when I got home and laid down in my bed. I impatiently waited for Harry to call or text me. I waited for what seemed like forever until I heard a little buzz at 12:23 a.m. I smiled and hoped it was from Harry and it sure enough was. I smiled to myself as I read the text...

From Harry :
Hey Lexi
I responded within seconds saying
To Harry:
Heyy Harry
We had a pretty normal conversation, until he got tired and said goodnight. I said goodnight back and just laid on my bed smiling. I was actually happy that he was the person that lived across the street. I soon fell asleep, with a smile on my face.
