Chapter 4 The incident

Chloe's P.O.V
"And I can't believe what I'm seeing"
There was a huge semi on the side walk right next to the smoothie shop.
What if it landed on Ricky? What if there are more people under it?
There was already cops there so I ran back up the street.
Ricky's P.O.V
I just got done paying the employee at the smoothie shop and was walking back up to my street. I heard a car or truck spin out of control and looked behind me. It was coming right for me, so I started running and I was to slow cause it hit my back. And I went flying and hit a rock, I could barely see and walk. I one limping around the corner Chloe runs to me.
Chloe: OMG! Ricky are you ok? What happened?
Me: Yea I'm fine I just fell
Chloe: It doesn't look like you just fell!
Me: Well I did ok! Just leave me alone!
Chloe: Ok fine I will!
I don't know why I didn't tell her what happened to me. But I walked inside and had my mom fix me up, She's a doctor. So she put stitches in my head and said I have a severe concussion. And a sprained ankle. I went upstairs and called Maddie,
Maddie: Hey Ricky what's up.
Me: Well umm I just got stitches in.
Maddie: OMG! Baby what happened?
Me: I got smoothies with Chloe and we forgot to pay, so I went back to pay them and a semi got out of control and hit my back and sent me flying. Now I have a concussion and a sprained ankle but I will be fine ok.
Maddie: Ok get better soon! Are you coming to school tomorrow?
Me: Yea I just can't do gym
Maddie: Ok we'll get some rest love you!
Ricky: Love you too!
(Skips to tomorrow at school)
Chloe's P.O.V
I still can't stop thinking about what happened yesterday. And if Ricky's okay.
Ricky: Hey!, Hey Chloe!
Me: Oh hey Ricky what happened yesterday!?
He grabbed my hands and started to talk.
Ricky: The semi hit my back and sent me flying and I hit a rock. I have a serious concussion and sprained ankle.
Me: I'm so glad your ok!
Ricky: I'm glad you didn't come with me to pay the smoothie shop!
He said that hugging me, I like his hugs he makes me feel safe.
Ricky's P.O.V
Chloe and I walked to class together, once I got in class I saw Maddie so I instantly run up to her and hug her.
Maddie: Ricky!
Me: Maddie! I'm so happy to see you! Love you so much!
I said that after hugging her and kissing her forehead.
Maddie: I love you too! How's your forehead?
Me: It's ok. I just wanna sit and hold you!
Maddie: I wish! I'm going to come over tonight, okay?
Me: I would love that!
I hugged Maddie and kissed her forehead one more time, then turned around to see Chloe looking at me all sad like.
After math class we went to lunch. Of course I sat with Maddie, but today was weird at lunch Chloe didn't sit with us. She sat on a whole other side of the lunch room. But when I saw her over there with Paige and Bailee and emery.
I knew that I wanted to be with her and I'm only dating Maddie to get over the fact that she didn't want to be with me.
Chloe's P.O.V
I sat on a whole other side of the cafeteria, with Paige, Bailee and emery. Because I was upset that Ricky was with Maddie and didn't tell. I wasn't upset because he's with Maddie I was upset that he didn't tell me and I had to witness him kissing her with my own two eyes!
OMG! He's walking over here! What do I do? What did I say to him?
Ricky: Hey Chloe can i talk to you?
Me: Umm sure ok
He took over by the locker where no one could see us.
Me: What do you want to talk to me about?
Ricky: Are you mad at me?
Me: No I'm just upset that you didn't tell me that you are dating Maddie, cuz I had the feeling that you liked me.
Ricky: Here's the thing I can't get over who I have feelings for!
Me: Well ok then but we can't hug or hold hands because I don't wanna be that girl who steals boys girlfriends.
Ricky: you won't be and I wasn't going to cheat on Maddie with you.
Me: well ok I'm going back to lunch.
Ricky: Ok
Ricky stayed behind looking very disappointed, about something but I have dance to worry about not boys!
