New friend

The next morning I am all packed.
Why am I doing this, I think. After a few hours of the movers moving our stuff in the big truck Tyler's car pulls up out side my driveway. He walks out and I can't help but run to him. He starts to cry in my shoulder, I end up doing the same. After we said our long goodbye's my mom and I got in the car to head to California.

//After 3 days of driving//
I am definitely not in Minnesota, I think to myself. There are palm trees our new house is right by the ocean.
After the movers unload our stuff my mom and I plunk into our couch and just look around.

"How about you go look around town dear?" My mom asked. "Alright."

I grab my board and head out. I do admit, I am kinda happy to be here. I end up skating by some little strip malls and see a hot topic. Like I could pass that up. I walk in. It is WAY bigger than the ones I ever saw in Minnesota. There is a girl in the shopping alone and she walks right up to me.
"Are you following me?" She asked. "No, why do you ask?" I asked. "I saw you behind me riding your board way back by my house." "Oh sorry sounds like a miss understanding, I just moved here today." "Wait really?" "Why would I lie." "Not saying you would, it's just someone moved into the house next to mine today too." "Oh funny do you live on Saints Ave S?" I asked
"Oh my god yeah."
We both started to laugh. "I'm Emmy."
She puts her hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Zoe." "Well nice to meet you Zoe, I am sure I will be seeing you in school?" "Oh yeah." Well it was nice meeting you! "You too."

The she walked away leaving me to shop. I picked out some 5sos bracelets and a Twenty one pilots tee. Then I got on my board and went back home.

"So what did you see?" My mom asked. "Well, I saw a hot topic and ran right in, and I think I already made a friend, her name is Emmy." "She might be our neighbor." "She is."

After my mom and I had our little conversation I wanted to go to sleep because tomorrow was my first day at Inver High.
