Chapter Two

Jarred's POV
After putting May up for adoption, I went home and closed my bedroom door. I sat on my bed as I just thought about how confused and unloved she must feel. "I love you May," I whispered as a single tear rolled down my face. Once I gathered my feelings together, I stood up and tried to open the door. "What? It isn't opening. Gina!" Then, I heard the window open behind me and saw my greatest rivalry, Derek and behind him, his partner, Mo.

This is a flash back where you will find out what happened between Derek and Jarred about five years ago.

"How much are we betting?" Jarred asked with excitement. "Let's make this the final round and bet $1,000,000," Derek said with confidence. Morgan, Derek's partner and girlfriend said nervously, "Are you sure about this?" Derek just looked at Morgan and she knew that she should back off. "You better hope you win," Jarred said with a chuckle. They played the round and Jarred won. Derek didn't think that he would lose, so he threw the money at Jarred and yelled "You better run far away if you want to live to see your family again!" Jarred knew what he had gotten into when he became Derek's friend. If you get on his bad side, you will be lucky to be alive by the morning. The worst part is that Jarred used it all on his family trip to Florida. This spread around and when it got to Derek that his money was gone, he was furious. "Mo get the weapons! We're taking a trip to Jarred's house!" Derek announced.

This flashback has ended. Now we are back to when Jarred is stuck in his room

Jarred's POV

"Derek ww...why are you here! Ju...just leave," I studdered. "To get my revenge! You used all of my money, and now I will make you suffer the consequences!" Derek yelled. "Jarred honey, are you alright?" Gina asked curiously. "Umm...yeah I'm fine," I answered debating if I should say it.
I heard stomping up the stairs and I knew Gina was coming. The doorknob twisted and turned and It finally opened. "Gina no! Go down stairs," I ordered. She didn't listen and walked in and saw me and who she hoped she would never see again, Derek and Mo (Morgan). She was in shock. She didn't know if she should run or stay by my side. Mo looked at Derek and I noticed that before they came, they planned something. "I told you that you would suffer the consequences," Derek announced. Mo lifted up her gun and before my eyes my wife was dead on the floor. I collapsed to my knees and began to cry. Mo and Derek grabbed me and threw me into their car. "Www...where are yy...you taking me," I said nervously. Derek said with a smirk, "Oh we are just taking a little trip."
