I ran.... Ran so far away from all I had once known. With my uncle's fortune and a voyage to Virginia, all had seemed better for me. My dear John Proctor, now hangs dead from my tree. He had fallen victim to my plan to rid him of his horrid wife Elizabeth. I feel nothing but guilt for his death and wrath that Elizabeth still lives. Dear, sweet Tituba is the only one of Salem who knows of my location. She sends the news reports from Salem to me whenever she can. I thank her greatly.
I sit now in my new home in Jamestown, a new man as my loving light. He knows not of my past in Salem, thank God. He is a good farmer and owns much livestock and horses. He goes by the name Vladimir. My dearest Vladimir Williams.
He would always to me at night, just as John Proctor before him, and takes me riding in the cool Virginia forests surrounding the town. We are to be wed soon. The beautiful, silk furred, strong black stallion he would bring for me to ride as my gift from him. I await Tituba's news now, here in my candle-lit cabin. I wonder how things in Salem have been going after all of these years...
