6 Months later

Levi

Surprisingly school has been alright, the spring formal was on Friday, it was Wednesday so Dylan and I where at the mall shopping for dresses.

"This ones nice" I say holding up a long pink floral dress.

"I think this one suits you better" Dylan said holding up a green knee length dress. "Gimme, lemme go try it on" I said taking the dress out of her hands.

I walked over toward the changing rooms and locked the door, began taking off my clothes taking precautions not to mess up my hair and makeup. I stepped out a looked I'm the huge mirror that covered the entire wall. I need one of those.

"Dylan" I called. "Come look at this one" I say smoothing the dress out. It was a spaghetti strap backless dress that reached below my knee.

Dylan appeared behind me, I looked up into the mirror and watched as she scanned me.

We both looked at each other in the mirror "Don't get me wrong, that dress looks so good on you, but its too sexy, they ain't gonna let you in with that" Dylan said in a smirk.

"You right" I sighed.

I changed back into my original clothes and began searching again.

It had been about an hour and we switched stores. I was beginning to get frustrated, It was almost touching 7 o'clock, we've been in the mall since school ended

I let out a groan. "Dyl I'm tired of this, can we just go get somethin' to eat?" I asked combing my hair with my fingers.

She kissed her teeth . " Yeah.. Lets go I'm hungry.

I walked quickly towards the exit, Dylan was walking starring down at her phone, walking really slow, I turned my head to tell her to hurry up and when I turned my head back around I collided into a tall framed torso.

His cologne instantly filled my nostrils, he grabbed my waist almost like it was his natural instinct. "Woah..sorry" he said slowly letting go.

looked up at him, he was really tall around 6'2.

"M-my fault" I mumble. He was too fine.

He cracked a small smile, and I returned one. we stared at each other for a few moments, It look like he was about to say something but I didn't get a chance to hear, I felt myself being yanked away.

"Levi, you see this line!" Dylan said obnoxiously loud, I turned my head away for the boy and saw the a long line of people at Burger King. I scanned the rest of the food court and saw even longer lines.

I turned back around and a the boy was gone. I frowned at the fact that I may never see him again.

I took this time to slap her across the arm.
She looked at with wide eyes.

"Ow, what the heck?!" She yelped slapping me back.

"Did you not just see me talking to that fine ass guy?" I semi yelled.

"Yeah I saw you." You wasn't even talking B, y'all was just staring at each other, I saved you from future embarrassment" She said rubbing her arm.

I shook my head and kissed my teeth. "Let's just go the the Burger King by what's his names house" I say rolling my eyes.

"Ight She said walking towards the escalator adjusting her bag over her shoulder. We stood and talked as the escalator brought us down.
