My bed was so cold last night, I swear I felt the hairs on my legs stand up and march away. I've called that damn AC unit company and received no answers so many times that I think the manager has my number blocked on all phone servers at the company. Grumbling about the trouble at hand, I pulled my blanket tighter around me and advanced towards the kitchen where last nights left over cake called to me from. As I walked through the dimly lit hall, I couldn't help but notice the lack of my cat's hungry mews. Patch seemed to have just disappeared into the walls of this tiny apartment. So odd, she's usually out and about ready to be fed around this time. Odd, very odd indeed. After my breakfast of left over cake and crying over skinny girls on tumblr, I went about the house searching for Patch. She literally seemed to have simply evaporated into thin air. I was on my hands and knees searching under the couch when I got a knock on the door that made me nearly jump out of my skin. Of course, in the process I bumped my head. I crawled out and made my way to the door, cursing here and there as I went. Peeping through the peeper hole in the door, I was taken aback by the tall figure dress in dark clothing on the other side.
He wore a long black trench coat, slicked dark hair, and had the palest skin you've ever seen. I cautiously poked my head out of the door, suddenly very aware of how gross I must have looked."hey there, I'm you're new neighbor..I live across the hall." He smiled, and spoke with soft voice.
"Ummm hi, you need something..or?" Lol, great going vic, real inviting.
"Actually, was wondering if I could have a cup of coffee? Just moved in and haven't had time to unpack..which means no coffee to curb my caffeine needs.." He pouted, his perfect lips forming an upside down heart.
"It'll be a few, haven't actually made a pot yet today" I opened the door as I spoke, inviting him in.
"Fine with me." He practically ran through the doorway.
