Chapter 2
I knew I should have been a bit nicer to Seeley after all he was most probably still mad and upset at me after what I did.
I don’t blame him for snapping but Temperance running after him; never would I have thought she would have been able to comfort him. I didn’t know where he lived anymore and I guess he wanted to keep it that way. I decided that because I didn’t have any friends I better make emends with my previous friends.
Walking into the Jeffersonian I felt a little out of place, it was so large and full of highly intelligent people. I noticed Camille sitting in her office, and I guess she noticed me.
“Hannah, how may I help you?”
“I was looking to speak to Temperance”
“Yeah she’s in Angela’s office with Hodgins and Booth.” Cam smiled.
She knew that what she just did was going to cause a whole lot of drama, but Hannah needed to know that she was no longer welcome here and everyone had happily moved on.
Walking into Angela’s office, she found the four of them trying to build this child’s play toy.
“Hodgins just because your son is about to walk does not mean our daughter is, what do these instructions even mean and how did I get myself involved in helping you two with this.”
“Cause you can’t resist Bren, ever.” Angela pointed out.
Booth smirked at Brennan. “Point taken.” He said leaning over and giving her a quick peck on the lips.
Hannah gasped, making all four heads turn in her direction.
“Hannah” Angela & Hodgins manage to say.
“If you didn’t understand me yesterday let me say the words to you, I don’t want to see you or talk to you.” Booth said
“I just wanted to let you know that I’m back in town, for good.” Hannah said.
“Just thought we’d let you know you’re no longer welcome here.” Angela flashed the biggest fake smile.
Hannah then excused herself, all of them laughing at her face as she left.
“Ange that was so mean though.” Hodgins said.
“No it was not, it’s my office and she’s clearly not wanted.”
