Sam's POV
"So I've called Jesy, she'll be out of the flat with me on a date, Leigh and Perrie are going to see a movie and get some diner, which means Jade will be by herself in the flat." Jordon said. "Am I like the best wing man or what?" He laughed.
"You're pretty good." I smiled.
"Okay, so you go to her flat, take some flowers or something, tell her how you feel and walla!" he shouted, smiling.
I twiddeled my thumbs looking at the ground, I done that a lot when I was nervous. "What if she doesn't feel the same way? What if she laughs in my face?"
"Calm down, okay? Just relax." he smiled. "I've got to go pick up Jesy, but Perrie and Leigh aren't leaving the flat till 7!"
"Okay." I said. "Wait Jordon!" I shouted.
"Yeah, what's up?" he asked.
"You are like the best wing man ever." I smiled.
"Mate, I already know!" he laughed. "Good luck!" he shut the door behind him.
On my way over to Jades flat I remembered that I hadn't got Jade flowers. I looked at the shops on the street I was walking on. I highly doubted that any flower shops would be open at almost 6 at night. I'd screwed up already. But then I seen it, a movie store.
I walked straight over to the counter, where there stood a boy around about my age.
"What can I help you with?" he asked.
"Do you have Tangeled?" I asked.
"Tangeled?" he said surprised. "Seriously."
"Yeah." I said. I guess it must have been weird to see at 21 year old man buying Tangeled.
He dissapeared into the back of the shop, only seconds later re-appearing with the dvd.
I paid him for the movie and went next door into a small supermarket. I grabbed every kind of biscuit that I saw and as soon as I'd paid for them, I began sprinting to Jades flat. As I ran I thought about what I would say to her, how I would tell her that I really liked her and wanted to be more than friends, but I couldn't think of anything.
About 3 minutes later I stood at Jade's front door. It was 10 past 7, so surely Perrie and Leigh had went to the cinema by now. I took a deep breath in before knocking on the door. A few seconds later, I heard small footsteps getting closer towards the door. I could hear my heart pounding in my chest, I don't think I had ever been this nervous.
As the front door swung open, I locked eyes with Jade instantly. Man, she was perfect. She her hair tied up in a top knot and was wearing her grey and purple onsie. She looked so cute. It was then that I realised I hadn't said anything yet.
"Can we talk?" I asked her. "I brought Tangeled and biscuits." I smiled holding up the bag.
She let out a small giggle, and welcomed me in.
Jade's POV
I went through to the kitchen to make me and Sam a cup of tea. I thought about what he could want to talk about. He sounded kind of serious when he'd said it. I wasn't concentrating, so I ended up pouring boiling water on my hand. I winced in pain.
"Jade, are you okay?" Sam shouted through from the living room.
"I'm fine!" I shouted back, but when I turned around he stood in the doorway and took notice of my now burned hand.
"Come here." He said guiding me over to the tap. He held my wrist and turned it on.
"Thanks." I smiled.
A few minutes later we sat in the living room in awkward silence, neither of us knowing what to say.
"So, emm.." Sam mumbled. "I'm just going to get straight to the point."
I nodded my head, scared of what he would say next.
"Have I done something to upset you?" he asked, looking deep into my eyes.
"No, what would make you think that?" I asked.
He looked down at the ground. "It's just, the other night 3 weeks back, it went so well and we said we would both love to do it again. I just thought that maybe you were busy when you hadn't been speaking to me, but earlier on when you avoided me I could just tell that you were upset and it had something to do with me." He looked back up and seen me crying. "Jade, please don't cry." He shuffeled over on the couch and wrapped one of his arms around me rubbing soothing circles on my shoulder. "Please, just tell me what's wrong?"
"I just-I." I stuttered and took a deep breath in before beginning to explain. "Leigh and her boyfriend, they broke up. I was speaking to Leigh and she freaked me out saying that Jordon had started of being really nice and then became horrible. She said that wasting time with him was one of her biggest regrets. It just freaked me out a little, so I never called you back." I cried.
"Shh." he hushed, continuing to try and calm me down.
"She was so upset and it reminded me of how upset I was when my dad left me, my mum and my brother. Almost everytime I get attached to someone they let me down or leave. I'm just too scared Sam." I rested my hand in my arms trying to hide my face. I hated crying infront of people.
Sam lifted my chin up, so my eyes were locked with his.
"Jade." he paused. "I want to be with you. I would never even dream of hurting you or even worse leaving you, because seeing you this upset now- it breaks my heart." He said cupping my face. "You're perfect."
He slowly lent in and pressed his lips gently against mine pulling me into a tight hug after.
"I want to be with you too." I smiled.
"Jade?" He asked.
"Yeah?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Ofcourse." I smiled.
