His gaze dropped down, the fire in his eyes replaced a merciful glint.
Why was she sleeping on the floor? Didn't the soft and yielding bed entice her?
The A.C was off too, damn, she's an unsolved puzzle.
Few sheets shuffled near the study table attracted his attention, walking stealthily near it he swore not to wake her up.
Sanyukta had drafted several iterations before moving onto a final design, each of them a smartly scratched plan.
"Not bad agarwal," his eyes scanned those papers cautiously.
The designs were actually good.
"Who's there?" he heard a gasp and turned around.
"Randhir?" she yelled that almost sent shivers through him, thanks to the sexy sleepy voice. "I knew it had to be you, who else would be up at 2 a.m planning to destroy my project work."
What? really? she thought so low of him?
"Can't you come up with anything good? Your project isn't gonna bother me however good it may look for mine is anyway gonna be the best."
"Go on. Stay high on ego. Your eyes are blinded by the delusional glory lights, you aren't awake shekhawat, you're sleeping." she folded her arms around her chest.
"Please kiss me and make me awake princess, if that's that." he stepped close.
"Buzz off." sanyukta fling her arms open.
"That's my house." he pierced his gaze towards her."You buzz off."
"Apparently, it's my room so you need to get out." she smirked devilishly. "And if you don't feel like getting out, just know, uncle-aunty are always up to help me ay any hour of time, even at 2 a.m."
That line boiled his blood. His parents choosing her over him, the thought was exasperating itself.
"Alright agarwal, you wanna play it cool?." his demeanor changed, his eyes were back in devil mode, "I challenge you to make a better project than mine, if you win, I'd do whatever you want me to but if you lose, things would be vice-versa.
"Challenge accepted. " she trembled while she spoke.
It wasn't easy she knew, but backing out was no option, she didn't want to look like a coward, atleast not in front of him.
