One year before

I woke really early on September 8th, first day of senior year, and automatically pulled out my bong.

Just one toke, just one toke. I had to tell myself over and over again so I didn't get stoned before school.

I pulled on my buddy Jason's sweater, rest in peace. Ever since his death I've worn that sweater almost everyday.

I ran my fingers through my hair and rolled my lip ring a bit, pulling on my red beanie. Click! A rock hit my window.

"Jasper!" Sam's voice echoed up the ally into my room.

"Ya I'm coming hold up!" I yelled out to him, I grabbed my bag and threw it over my shoulder running down the stairs and out the door.

"Hey, boy your here real early." I walked over and "bro hugged" Sam, he smiled and went into his bag.

"Yeah I figured I'd give you that gram I owed you-" he handed me a bag- "here."

I smiled and took it happily, stuffing it into my own bag. "Thanks, wanna head out?"

He nodded and we made our way toward our dirt school, running into Jacob on the way.

"Your really going?" He looked at me, lighting his dart in the process.

"Yeah, it's my last year. I'm gonna' go, it worth it." He passed me a dart and I lit mine happily, taking a huge puff. Damn that was needed.

"Yeah I see what your saying, I'll see you later though. Peace bud." He nodded and entered a house I had no clue existed.

**time skip after school**

"Wanna come over for a toke?" Matt asked me, I shook my head.

"Nah man, I've got to work, sorry." He shook his head and sighed, walking away without a goodbye.

I turned to make my way home but Tiffany came running up to me.

"Jasper! I've missed you, I haven't seen you in months." She hugged me, I regrettably hugged her back.

"Yeah it's been awhile," i stated walking away, she fallowed.

"So what you doing tonight?" She asked, biting her lip. Great, I knew this was gonna end badly.

"I've got work till five," she smiled innocently, stopping on her corner before her house.

"I'm sure you won't mind if I stop by around five thirty, I'll bring some dope for us." She waved to me and started walking away.

She didn't even ask, she just said she was coming over. God I hated her sometimes, but she is one of the best.

I continued to walk until I got home, changed and hopped on my bike.

Work yay...
