Walking Dead idea #2 :) This one is one that just died over time. I actually wrote more that one chapter on this one :) yaaay xxx

When a world is over run but the walking dead, families are spilt up and reunited In this case, The Dixon family. Madison Dixon ran away from home, aged 13 and her life was made much better, but for her brothers. Life was harder for them both. But when Madison found Woodbury, she found her brothers and trouble.

Okay then xx letsa go!!

The more I ran, the closer he got. I can hear him shouting my name. I don't stop. I just keep running. My small knife is hidden in my jacket and my backpack is hitting against my back. I turn a corner and keep running. I turn my head to see if he's still following me and he is.

"Madi, please! We can sort this out!"

I sigh and slow down. I turn around an face my brother,

"Oh, open yer eyes! I ain't wanted here! Merle's in fucking juvie, mom's dead and he don't give two shits about me OR you!"

He walks up to me,

"He does care, Madi, please! Just come home."

I scoff and walk up to him,

"Why do yeh stand up for 'im? He didn't care that you were out in the middle of no were for over a week and I was locked in the closet! He beats us both and yet you still stand up for 'im."

He puts his hand on my shoulder and I push it off.

"Please, Madison, I need you! I can't handle this on my own."

"Then come with me! We can go together, Madi and Daryl vs The World!"

He shakes his head and says no,

"Then let me go!"

And I turn and run away from my brother.

----

I was awoken by the sound of beeping. I lazily open my eyes and look around the room. The small desk with my laptop and 9mm pistol on. The wardrobe that has my hoodie hooked on the handle and the bed that lays next to mine. In said bed, normally lays my fellow survivor and boyfriend, Will but this morning he is on watch. I turn over and look at the alarm clock that Is still beeping away. I reach out and hit the snooze button on top.

I swing my legs over the side and sit up. I stretch my arms out in front of me and hear my right shoulder click. I run my hands over my face and wipe my eyes. My eyes are diverted to the small clock as I notice that it reads, '10:23'

"Shit!"

I stand up and walk over to the bathroom. I turn the shower on and get in. Letting the water run over the marks that cover my back, stomach and lower arm. I walk out and get changed into my clothes. The thick, denim legings fit onto my legs perfectly and the t-shirt sits on my waist nicely. I put my long brown hair in a ponytail. I grab my pistol and wedge it in the waistband of my leggings. I put on my boots and walk out of the room, grabbing my jacket as I did so.

I walked onto the high street and as I left the complex, bumped into Andrea,

"Woah! Madi! Where you off to in a hurry?"

I spin on my heels and turn to her,

"Morning Andrea! I was meant to be meeting the Governor about how I've been leaving Woodbury and how I've been risking the security of the village... Yada, Yada, Yada!"

She chuckles,

"I was like that! Always leaving camp, a friend of mine, Shane, always used to have a go at me for leaving,"
