Putting It All On Paper

These Times

I look around in these times;
Our world is corrupted, people are being neglected,
They stand ignorant with scales upon their eyes,
Trying to comfort themselves with lies.
Bombs, guns all these weapons
Cause our lives to end shortly.
Trust in God to be your guide
For the devil comes as a lion to push you a side.
Don't worry nor I dare you to fret,
For I know the Lord I serve has never fail me yet.
Times will get harder,
But it's up to you,
Choose the encourager or the one that gives you false hope.
These times are cruel yet,
But better is on before just don't give up yet.
