18 Years later
My school district has an entry for preschool very late; the youngest you can go is 5 years old. Most kids are in kindergarten or even 1st grade by that time. So when you're in high school you can be 20 and still not graduate, but they kick you out of school at age 21, so.Even though I'm 18 and still in high school, I am alive and ready for college. I'm a senior so it's rough with college and the future, so I have lots of pressure on me. I woke up and realized I was late for school. I rushed and got ready, brushed my teeth and hair, and then got dressed. When I walked in there was two boys that just were the most handsome boys I ever seen. Ryan is in Chorus, and band, he loves music. Jake was in Chorus and band, he loved music too. The catch is that they are both popular and are best friends. I always avoided them and their "kind". I may sound mean and all, but honestly, most of them are brats. I never knew any popular kids would be nice to anybody outside of their group, but Jake and Ryan were different from the rest, they were almost like different people. They opened the door for everyone, offered money to people who needed it, even offered a ride home every day for the rest of the school year. They might look like show offs but they're not; they're the real deal. Once I laid my eyes on them for the first time, I knew they were special; I had met them both in 3rd grade, but we weren't really friends. I felt attracted to Ryan in 4th Grade when we had to enter chorus and sing with your assigned partner (he was mine), and I felt attracted to Jake in the 5th Grade, when we had to audition for Band. Most guys in my life were not as nice to me as they were and it also made the difference to me because they are very cute; but what boy isn't cute in their own special way?
