two

-Maddie-

I'm not sure why, but when I woke up, Luke and I were cuddled up together.

He was warm, and when I opened my eyes, he was peacefully sleeping. He looked adorable, and I couldn't help but stare.

After staring at him, which wasn't creepy at all, he slowly started to open his eyes.

"Morning" he said and yawned.
"Morning" I said back.

I looked up and saw we were under a tree, and I remembered what had actually happened.

I pulled away from our cuddle, and stood up, feeling cold away from his warm embrace. He didn't look like he wanted to get up.

"Luke" I said. "What?" He answered, sounding sleepy.

I held out my hand to help him up. He grabbed onto it and I pulled him up.

"We should find the others" I said. "We should"

We both started to walk to the boys.

"So, what are you doing today?" He asked me. "I'm not sure, but probably hanging out with Becky and Sophie"

Sara and Becky are my best friends, and usually we'd be hanging out, but neither of them could come to the picnic.

"Oh, cool" he said and looked down to the ground. As we approached the other 5sos members, they looked up at us.

"Where were you guys?" Ashton asked. "Oh, we were just exploring" Luke said. Once they looked away, we winked at each other.

"We should probably get going, we have a concert tonight" Calum said and started to stand up.

"Oh, right, okay" Luke said. We all started to walk back to the 5sos car.

When we got there, Calum wanted to drive and Michael sat up front with him, leaving Luke, Ashton and I in the back.

Luke sat in the middle, and Ashton started to drum on his leg. I was on twitter, and Luke was humming.

"Hey, Mads, are you coming to the concert tonight?" Luke asked me.

I looked up from my phone and smiled at him. "Front row" and I winked.

Luke smiled and looked down, still smiling.

I wanted to take a picture of him so bad for snapchat and send it to Sophie and Becky he was so cute.

Luke caught me staring at him and he winked at me, making me giggle.

"Hey, want to take a selfie for my snapchat story?" Luke asked me.

"Oh, yeah, sure" I smiled at him and he took  out his phone.

We both stuck out our tongues. That's what we had in common. We always stuck out our tongue for pictures to make is happier, and occasionally, less awkward.

He took the picture and smiled at it. After he thought I looked away, I saw him save it.

A few minutes later, I got a snapchat from Luke. I opened it, and it was our selfie.

I  screenshotted it, and smiled at him.

When we got to my apartment that I shared with Becky and Sophie, I took off my seat belt.

"Bye, thank you so much for the ride and everything" I waved bye, and they all waved back.

I unlocked my apartment and walked in, hearing Becky and Sophie talking.

"Hey Beck and Soph, what you talking about?" I asked.

Sophie tucked something away in her arm.  "Nothing!!" Sophie and Becky said at the same time.

I grabbed whatever was under Sophie's arm, and saw it was he phone. I looked, and she was on Calum's Instagram page.

"Ooh! Somebody's gotta crush on Calum!" I smirked.

Sophie blushed "I do not!" Becky giggled. "Come on, Soph, you called him dreamy!" Becky yelled.

"Shut up" Sophie grumbled and rolled her eyes. "I'm making cookies" Sophie grumbled and got up.

As she was leaving, Becky mumbled "For Calum?" Sophie heard and turned around staring at her.

"No!" She said harshly and stormed out of the room.

I giggled. "I totally ship them!" I yelled. "Maddie, hush" Becky whispered.

"Sorry!!" I giggled. "I want cookies..." Becky mumbled.

I giggled "So do I!"

Becky turned her full attention on me.

"May I help you?" I said awkwardly. I'm a pretty awkward person at times.

"Yes you may" Becky giggled and smirked.

"What...?" I asked nervously, and to make it sound even weirder, my voice had a tiny crack in it.

Becky could see the fear in my eyes, like she was feeding off my fear.

"How was the picnic?" She asked. Wow. I worked myself up for nothing. I thought she was going to ask me about my love life and crushed.

That couldn't be revealed...yet.

"Oh, it was nice and fun"
"Well, something happened"
"Like what?"
"You had a sleepover!!"
"Nothing happened!! We just slept!"

We argued. Why did she care.

"Maddie, I've got a question" Becky asked.

"Ask me" I tried to sound casual.

"Do you have feelings for Luke?" She seemed completely interested and acted as if she had been wondering this for a long time.

My heart skipped a beat. I liked Luke for a while now, and I was surprised Becky hadn't noticed.

I just sat there, not really knowing what to say.

Becky smirked. "I knew it!!" She got up and started to dance.

I rolled my eyes. "Stop" I covered my red face.

After she had calmed down, she sat down beside me and put her arm on my shoulder.

"I can tell he likes you too. The way he stares at you, talks to you... Everything"
Her voice was soft when she spoke.

I looked up at her.
"Really?"
"Really"

I thought about him for a minute. Like think about it- Luke and Maddie? Together? Really?!?

She smiled at me, until we started to smell cookies.

We jumped out of our seats. "COOKIESSSSSSS!!!!!!"

We ran into the kitchen where Sophie was making cookies. They were on a plate on the table.

"Yes!!" I hugged Sophie before running to the table to grab a cookie.

I ate like 6 cookies, until my phone vibrated.

I checked it, and it was a text message from Luke.

"The boys and I are going out tonight. Sophie, Becky and you should all come"

I smiled and texted back;

"We'll be there. Cya then!"

"Sophie, Becky! We're going out tonight with 5sos"

Becky and Sophie looked up.

"Okay, cool" They both said.
