Chapter 24

Taylor's POV

"Wake up Taylor..."

"5 more minutes nanny Lily...." I said. "Taylor, this is mom." Mom laughed. Wait, what?

I sit up and look at my surroundings. This is my old room...

"Good morning mom!" I said and she laughed again. "I've been waking you up for like 30 minutes!" She said and it's my turn to laugh.

"Is that how Lily always wake you?" She asked and I shook my head. "Take a shower because breakfast is ready!" She said before leaving my room.

'I miss our house...' I mumbled

I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

"Good morning mom,dad." I said and I sat next to mom. I started eating.

"Good morning Taylor." Dad said.

"I miss this house." I said. "Me too dear, we've all been busy." Mom said.

"Good thing this place ain't filled with spider webs." Dad said and we all laughed.

After I finished eating, I kissed mom and dad goodbye and went to school.

"Taylor!!" Sel said while running towards me. "What?" I laugh.

"Anton just asked me out!! Omg--" she said and covered her mouth because many students are looking at us.

I laugh again "Good for you Sel," I said and smiled. "You two will look perfect together." I said and we walked inside school.

We were walking in the hallway and I saw many of them walking our opposite direction. I got confused and stop when Karlie and Cara approach us.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"All the teachers had an emergency meeting so we have no classes today." Karlie said.

This is great! No school on a Friday, happy long weekend.

"What do you guys wanna do?" Cara asked while we walk back outside.

"My parents are home." I randomly said.

"Really? We haven't seen them in a long time," Karlie said "Yeah, we only saw them one time here at school because Taytay doesn't want us to know where she lives." Sel said.

"What?" I defended "I would have take you to our house if I didn't need to live with him." I continued.

"So, where are you gonna live now?" Cara asked. "At my parents until they got back to their business. They'll be here in like a week or two." I replied.

"Can we go to your real house?" Cara asked. "Sure!" I said and we all ride my car.

"Taylor, why are you early again?" Mom asked and kissed my cheeks. "School got cancelled because they had an emergency meeting." I said and mom smiled,

"And I remember these lovely girls," mom said and kissed Sel,Karls and Cara's cheeks.

"Good thing you're all early because I baked Taylor's favorite cookies," mom said "Let's go to the kitchen." She said and we all followed.

"Harry stopped by earlier." Mom said. We all sat at the small table in the kitchen. "What... did he say?" I asked.

"He asked how are you and I even laugh at him because it's just been a day since you two were not living in the same roof." Mom said.

I can see the girls either smiling at me or raising their eyebrows up and down.

"Mama Swift, didn't you know that-" Selena stopped when I eyed her.

"You have a lovely kitchen." Sel continued. She took a bite of her cookie without looking at me.

"Mom, can we eat these in the garden?" I asked and she nodded.

I took our food and we all went on our backyard.

"Selena! What were you gonna say back there?" I asked. She raised her hands in surrender, "Chill Tay, it's not about that." She said.

"Why are you so scared? There's nothing to lose. If you do belong to each other, you belong to each other." Cara said.

"It's not that easy you know." I replied. "You always say this to me but I'm gonna say it to you," Sel said.

"You two are perfect for each other." She continued.

"Hey, don't say that. I'm still not sure anymore. After everything, especially now that the whole world thinks we're dating or something." I said.

"Change topic," Karlie said "Your house is gorgeous." She continued. "Thanks." I said.

*ting*

We all looked at Sel and she checks her phone.

"Uhh... Sorry guys, I got to go. Anton wants to see me." She said "Lucky you." Karlie said.

"It's okay." I said "Tay, I also want to go home. Let's just hangout tomorrow." Karlie said "I guess I'll leave too." Cara said. I guide them to the gate.

"Thanks for the food!" Cara shouts "Bye!" I said "Bye Tay!" They all said in unison.

I closed the door and went to my room to sleep.

I rub my eyes and looked at the time

11:53

Oh My God! I just skipped dinner! Stupid me.

I stand up and saw a note on my bedside table,

If you're hungry, there's food downstairs.

I stand up and went downstairs.

"I'm so sorry for everything..." Someone said. I stopped my tracks and hide on the wall.

"It's okay Kendall, that was a long time ago. She's good now..." Mom said. Wait, Kendall?

"I'll never forgive myself. I was so young back then and then we were playing hide n' seek and she suddenly disappeared and when I found her, she's laying with her head that got hit by a rock..." Kendall said.

"Shh.." Mom said and hug her "It's okay... We already forgive you." Mom said.

"I'm sorry, I just miss my best friend so much." She said.

"I already forgive you because if it wasn't for you... She would be gone by now..." Mom said. I can see that Kendall smiled.

"Taylor even thought that Abby, her friend that moved to someplace was her best friend." Mom said.

Wait, why the hell did I heard my name? And Abby was my best friend who died..... I gasped. Don't tell me I have an amnesia or something?

"I'm also sorry 'cause I'm rude and mean to her now. I just got... Angry because she does not remember me." Kendall said.

I really am confused.

I think that mom saw me and told Kendall that she should go home so I run upstairs to my room.

"Harry? Could you please pick me up?"

"Why? Is something wrong love?" Harry asked through the phone.

"Please... I need you..."
