41) meeting the twins

Aro's perspective
    i was in my library reading a book, when i heard a knock on the door. "come in." i said, closing my book and putting it in my lap.
I look towards the door and see Alec come in through the door. He had an weird look on his face, like he was hiding something. He realized that i noticed the look he had on his face, and offered me his hand so i could see what ever it was he wanted me to know. I took his hand and began looking through his mind. Something cought my eye, Zoe.

I realized Zoe waking up in pain " What's wrong?" i asked, i took a min to respond. i was starting to get really worried, i noticed there was a big wet spot on the bed. " Right now im not sure,but we need to get Carlisle in here right now." she responded. it looked like she was in a lot of pain, so i took off to get Carlisle for her fearing the safety for her and the babies. i got half way to Carlisle's room and heard Zoe scream and started running as fast as i could. I finally got to Carlisle's room, and knocked on the door as hard as i could every 1-2 min. After knocking 3 times, Carlisle opened the door "Alec,whats wrong?" He asked, noticing the worried look on my face."Something's wrong with Zoe! She just woke up with pain! You have to examine her!" i yelled in a hurry. Carlisle grabed the cart that had the ultra sound we headed off to Zoe's room. Carlisle put the Ultra sound on Zoe's stomach and checked on the babies. He said that her water broke and she might be in labor right now. Carlisle checked to see if she was far enough to be in labor. "Zoe, i want you to give a couple of huge pushes." He said. Zoe gave a couple of pushes for about a half hour and then we heard a crying noise, It was our daughter, Ashliey. Carlisle told her to give a couple more pushes. She reached for my hand and i gave it to her, and she squeezed it as hard as he could. Within about another half hour we heard another cry, our son was born. Carlisle cleaned them and got them dressed than he gave them to us to hold, we discussed what to name our son, we finally agreed to name him Jason Michel Volturi.

End of scene.

i studied the images of the babies one at a time. I took my hand away and asked "When do i meet them?" "now if you want to." he answered back and i signaled him to lead the way to them. "don't you want to bring Sulpicia with you to meet them?" He asked, i told him to stay there while i go get Sulpicia. I came back with Sulpicia and
Alec lead us to the nursery, where i could hear Zoe singing, we walk in and see Zoe in the rocking chair with Jason in one arm, and Ashliey in the other, and she was trying to sing them to sleep.

Alec went to Zoe, and told her that Sulpicia and i  wanted to meet the twins, She told Alec to take one of them for her. He took one of them and she got up with the other one and came towards us. "Aro,Sulpicia, I would like you to meet your granddaughter, Ashliey, and your grandson, Jason." 
I'll have to learn how to get used to those words, We never thought we would become grandparents one day. "may i hold one of them?" Sulpicia asked. "sure, which one? Alec has Jason, and i have Ashliey." Zoe said.  "umm, Ashliey, then Jason, if its alright." She said.  "yeah sure."Zoe responded handing Ashliey to Sulpicia.
Ashliey opens her eyes and smiles at us, she then lets out a big yawn, Sulpicia hands Ashliey back to Zoe and Zoe puts Ashliey in her crib to go to bed. Alec hands her Jason.  He just continued to sleep. She handed him back to Alec and he puts Jason in his crib to go to bed. We leave the nursery and turned off the light.
Zoe  grabs  one of the baby monitors. She Yawns and Alec picks her up and puts her in bed. We start talking about introducing everyone to the twins, later today.

Noon
Zoe's Perspective.
i wake up and go check on the twins, i get to the nursery and the door was open and the light was on. I walk in to see Alec changing  Ashliey's diaper. Jason was crying because he wanted his bottle. "do you have the bottle's ready?" i asked. he said no, because he thought i would want to nurse (breast feed) them today. i pick up Jason and i sit down with a cloth in the rocking chair, cover my boob up with the cloth and start nursing Jason.

Alec and i get Jason and Ashliey ready for the meeting.
