Chapter 5

Lucian and I-Bello continued on with their dates, ranging from small stops at the school library to elaborate dinners at expensive restaurants. They were intimate at times but soon moving further was in the future.

Now Lucian and I-Bello were sitting in Lucian's room. It was the entire attic. Lucian's bed was pushed against the far right side of the room and the TV was directly across from it. A move played as Lucian laid on his bed with I-Bello drapped across his chest with her hand on his jean covered thigh. Lucian ran his hand through her long black locks as they idly watched the movie.

"Baby," Lucian started.

"Yes," I-Bello said looking up at Lucian. There was a pause.

Instead of talking he looked down at her and pulled her face up to his for a kiss.

Soon the kiss became heated with Lucian hovering over I-Bello's small frame.

"Oh my god Lucian please stop this is too much" she moaned out as Lucian kissed her neck and sucked on that spot that always got her hot.

"Come on baby I just wanna make you feel good," Lucian said looking her in the eyes.

"I can't do this not unless I know the truth," she said looking into his eyes wanting the pure honest answer from the one who said he loved her: Was he really in love with her???????

"I'm in love with you and I want to show you, with all of me," Lucian answered her question.

And true to his word he showed her how in love with her he was.

Later that next morning Lucian woke up to an empty bed. Lucian looked over to his phone and saw a message from I-Bello: Had to get home see you at school.

Lucian smiled in anticipation to seeing his love.

Walking into the cafeteria being extremely late to school, Lucian walked to his table to see his friends and I-Bello. At this point I-Bello was not just his friend but his heart, his girlfriend, his everything.

Kissing I-Bello's cheek he sat down next to her an recognized how quiet she was. When he was about to address her he was interrupted by Tinesha.

"So I see you hit that," Tinesha said to Lucian jerking her head to I-Bello. Lucian sat in shock mouth popped open looking at I-Bello. He saw her with her head down in her hands and her frame shacking.

"I-Bello?" Lucian questioned. Suddenly I-Bello jerked her head up with a big smile on her face.

"Ugh this is funnier than I thought," I-Bello said standing up next to Tinesha. "This is my cousin."

There was a long period of silence before anyone could respond. Now the whole cafeteria was facing them.

"What?"

"I think I should tell the first half don't you?" Tinesha asked smiling down at I-Bello.

"Yeah go right ahead," I-Bello said smiling.

"So remember when you dated me, slept with me, then publically humiliated me?" Tinesha asked the rhetorical question to set up a scene. "I mean you dragged my name through the mud calling me a hoe then saying I cheated on you. Well I told my Italian cousin here."

"So when I heard someone stomped on my big cousin's heart I had to come rectify the situation. But I couldn't be loud about it no, mommy didn't waste all those Euros on acting class for nothing," I-Bello said smiling and taking a seat. "I played the little shy girl, and made you fall in love with me. Then I was going to break your heart."

"So are you hurt and publically humiliated now?" Tinesha asked walking away with her cousin in tow.

And like that she was out of his life.
