The world is full of dark things that no one even bothers to acknowledge. There are tons of creatures lurking in the night, just out of reach of those who possess a large amount of their humanity. Humanity is something not everyone has in this world. It is something to hold onto. Although, it is also something not many have the strength to keep.
No human has ever found out the truth about the creatures in this world and been able to live to tell another. Any non-living thing in this world would never let anything that has a soul live, if they saw it. No non-living thing has ever been said to have a soul. It's not something that happens, but that might not include a certain cursed, lonely individual.
Will the poor creature stay tortured by his soul forever, or will someone actually come along that has the power to help him overcome the dark fate that has always been cast upon him?
