Undersanding the Pain of Others

Tadashi POV

I walked into the kitchen to get a drink but I heard a LOUD scream from Hiro outside "HIRO!! WHAT IS IT!!?" I ran to the door and saw him clutching his arms crying and screaming in pain, "HIRO LET ME SEE!!" I ran to him in panic.
"HELP ME IT HURTS SO MUCH!!!!!" Hiro cried without hesitation I grabbed his arm and saw it...... a
terrifying thing..... AN INFESTATION.

"BAYMAX!!!!!!! AUNT CASS!!!!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, a split second later aunt Cass came running out with Baymax "Aunt Cass, Hiro. he.....Baymax give him a numb shot on both arms! Now!" I ordered Baymax quickly gave Hiro the shots.
Hiro had finally stopped screaming "Aunt Cass we have to get Hiro to a hospital now!!" I said to aunt Cass,
Moments later we all got into the truck and drove to the hospital,
I layed Hiro's head on my lap stroking his hair.

~In the hospital

"HELP! HELP! MY BROTHER NEEDS HELP!!!!" I shouted running into the desk carrying Hiro bridal style.
Two doctors ran to us with portable carrier, "lay him down." The nurse said and did as told, the doctors looked at his arms for a few seconds
before saying "This is serious! move him to the ER! HURRY!!!!!" They all ran to the emergency room, I wanted to follow but a nurse held me back.

~45 minutes later in the waiting room

I was so worried, but aunt Cass rubbed my back to calm me down, a nurse walked in looking at her clip board " Hiro Hamada's family." Aunt Cass and I stood up looking over before walking to her "we're here for Hiro" I said worried "Hiro is responding well to the treatment but he does need to stay a few more days" the nurse sighed
"Umm nurse my we go see him?" Aunt Cass asked "yes he's on the fifth floor, room 527, but be quite and gentle he barley woke up." the nurse
spoke "of course, thank you." I smiled a fake smile.

~ Room 527

Aunt Cass and I finally made it to the room I slowly opened the door and saw Hiro on a hospital bed hooked up to a bunch of scary looking machines, but I did take notice to his arms.

Hiro I'm so sorry I didn't help you in time, this, all of this I MY fault!

I was just about to cry when Aunt Cass went over to Hiro, who just woke up "Aunt Cass....T-Tadashi your both here" Hiro said weakly I knew he was trying to the 'fake smile' thing like me but I was so relief to care
"Hey buddy, how you doing?" I said gently walking over to his side.
"A little better, but my arms hurt and my stomach, I also feel dizzy a little." Hiro replied weakly
"Tadashi, the doctors say that Hiro needs to rest so we have to get going now" Aunt Cass mentioned putting her hand on my shoulder ,I looked over and looked back at Hiro
"What?! No! please don't leave me!" Hiro cried trying to get up,
"Hiro please calm down, I promise you I'll come by everyday, and stay until you sleep okay." I reassured my little brother.
"Okay, only if you REALLY promise."
Hiro said looking at me, I leaned over to give him a kiss on the forehead "don't worry Hiro I promise." I smiled
I noticed that Hiro was blushing, Aunt Cass came over to give him a kiss too,
"Good night Hiro sleep well, we love you so much." Aunt Cass smiled, Hiro waved bye.

~In the hallway

As we closed the door the two doctors who took Hiro wanted to talk,
"So we came back with Hiro's results and their not looking good," the female doctor with red hair began
"What!!?" I raised my voice a little
"Hiro has a rare condition, you said he has an infestation, but that's only half of it." The red head doctor handed it to the male doctor
"Hiro has a magot infestation but it's slowly becoming a infection so we gave him some shots to stop the infection from spreading," he sighed
"Doctor is there any way of getting those things out of him?!" I said angered "I'm sorry there is no way because we did our research and found he has the worst case on record, and being his young age, it's impossible, it'll take his arms and slowly kill him from the inside out." The doctor looked down
Aunt Cass began to cry I hugged her
"We're, we're so sorry." The red head doc. Said on the verge of tears.

I'M SO SORRY HIRO I WILL FIND A WAY TO GET YOU BACK TO NORMAL EVEN IF I DIE I WON'T STOP, JUST WAIT A LITTLE LONGER AND DON'T GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP!
