Niall's POV
The Next Morning I woke up and scooched myself out from under her.
I checked my phone and my twitter had blown up more than it did before.
then I saw it.
Damn it, Harry.
LaceyMoondogs: @NiallOfficial @RyOffic are you dating?
I heard Rylee wake up.
NiallOfficial: @LaceyMoondogs No
LaceyMoondogs: @NiallOfficial why not?
NiallOfficial: @LaceyMoondogs she has a boyfriend.
RyOffic: @NiallOfficial no I don't?
NiallOfficial: @RyOffic Garrett?
RyOffic: @NiallOfficial he's one of my two friends, not my boyfriend.
I signed off.
"Well I should probably go." She said and walked out.
"Bye." I called down the hall.
Rylee's POV
That was awkward.
Me and Lydia were eating dinner at some Italian place.
"So what's going on with you and Niall?" She asked.
"I don't know. he doesn't like me, he insists I have a boyfriend and doesn't act like he likes me. What about and you and Louis?"
"We've been texting and I kinda like him I guess." I fiddled with my straw.
"Speak of the devil." She whispered.
"What?"
"Isn't that Niall?" She pointed.
I turned and he was there, with a girl I've seen him with before.
"Maybe that's why he keeps saying I have a boyfriend, because he's got a girlfriend."
"Hey!" Lydia said.
I smiled at Garrett.
"Sup." He smiled.
We sat and had a great time.

RyOffic: @NiallOfficial again, no I don't we're friends.
NiallOfficial: @RyOffic I'll believe it when I see it:)
RyOffic: @NiallOfficial You're one to talk, you're sitting over there with your girlfriend
NiallOfficial: @RyOffic she's not my girlfriend.
RyOffic: @NiallOfficial uh huh.
We had a great rest of the night.
Lydia grabbed my phone.
"Selfie!" She yelled and we all smiled.
It was actually a really good picture and she tweeted it.
After a second Lydia asked, "Are you and Niall in a competition or something?"
"no, why?"
"Because he posted a selfie with his girlfriend that says 'havin a blast' after I said 'havin fun'."
I looked at him and scrunched my eyebrows.
We left and started walking back to the house when we heard laughing behind us.
We turned and Niall was holding the girl's hand and they were running.
She was trying too hard. Who wears a snapback with that outfit?

*Three Days Later*
I actually got through this day of school and am now walking to get coffee.
And who do I run into?
Niall Horan.
"Surprised you didn't spill something on me this time." I laughed and he laughed, too.
"So who was that?" I asked.
"Who? Amy?"
"Yeah."
"Just a friend."
"Why were you pretty much competing against me trying to prove you were having more fun?"
he stared at me.
"Because you're jealous? Or because you just wanted to prove that you had people better than me to take somewhere."
"What? No!"
"Really? Because that seems like all people are doing to me now, and you were there when it happened. Now you're making it happen."
"Rylee! I-"
"Garrett is my friend. Just my friend. So you bug on me about having a boyfriend and then take some girl out to dinner? How is that fair?"
"It's not."
"Exactly. So why are you doing it?"
"I don't know."
"You do know. You just don't want to tell me because you're just like everyone else. Be my best friend, act like you like me until someone better comes along. Well thanks, you've accomplished normalcy. And I don't like normal."
"Can we go somewhere?"
"No, I don't think we should see each other anymore. Have fun with Amy, I'll be alone. Again." I said and closed the door while walking down the street.
But he caught up to me.
"Rylee."
"What do you want?"
Niall's POV
"What do you want?" She asked, frustrated.
"What I did was wrong and you wanna know why I did it? Because I was jealous! I really thought you liked him so I didn't know what else to do because we were having a really good time!" I said.
"real flattering." She turned and wiped a tear off of her cheek.
"i'm sorry!" I said and I don't know why, but I kissed her.
She stared at me before turning and leaving,
