Enter: the new girl

We all know a Kyle. If you don't, some day you will. I knew a Kyle, but only for like five minutes. This Kyle wasn't like most other guys named Kyle. This one had a green glow and could fly. Kyle Rayner. The former Green Lantern. Oh! Silly me, I never introduced myself. My name is Anna Jacobs. I'm 16 years old and I live in Gotham city most of the time. See my mom split when I was about 6 and mysteriously popped back up when may dad's company broke big with Wayne Enterprises, making him a millionaire. Coincidences huh? After many hours in court my mom ended up winning $200,000. Now she lives in a nice condo in New York City. That's where I............wait I'm getting to far ahead. Lets go back, starting with my mom's sudden intrusion.

I woke up with a start. The nightmares were killing me. This one was of some random kid I don't even know getting shot up by the crazy clown that terrorizes my great city, The Joker. But, like I said, I didn't know the guy so not to worry. I sat up in bed and rustled my hand through my long, jet black hair. I've always had a crazy bed head. I mean this thing looked like Cousin It. I knew today was gonna be a bad day. It was my birthday. Sweet 16. Woopie! I swung my legs over the edge of my bed and slowly stood up, getting out that great morning stretch. Scratching my bed head I went into my bathroom and looked in the mirror. I couldn't help but laugh at my hair. Buckets, my dog walked in and awaited his morning head pat. I readied my shower as I finished the rest of my bathroom needs. Taking a quick but refreshing shower I suddenly realized that my dad most likely had some big show planned for me when I got downstairs. Dressing for my last day of school, as well as my birthday, I picked something that a believed suited the occasion. A long sleeve black shirt with purple stripes and black skinny jeans. Finishing the outfit I slipped on my worn black DC's. I threw on my glasses and walked off to the kitchen. Taking a breath I entered the crazy zone.
