Skylar awoke with a wide grin plastered onto her face. She turned her body, glancing down at the sleeping male beside her. Leaning down, she placed a gentle kiss to his forehead. Then, she leapt out of the bed.

She ran into the living room, toward the door. She unlocked the two locks, with 'click' noises. Then, she threw it open, and ran down the sidewalk.

Her feet skidded and scraped the cement as she sprinted to the mailbox. She yanked the pile of mail out, making a loud groan as she looked through the envelopes. Out of anger, she threw the pile on the ground, and stomped back into the house.

Had they not accepted her?

Had the letter gotten lost in the mail?

Had they not received her artwork?

As she stubbornly entered the building, she slammed the door shut.

It had been three whole weeks, and Juliard hadn't gotten back to her.

Before she could enter the dining room, she saw Dean standing in the doorway, gesturing for her to talk about it.

He hadn't even known she had applied.

Skylar glared up at him, stating she was not in the mood.

He didn't budge.

Groaning, she pushed past him, causing him to stumble. With that, she stomped across the tiled floor, down the creaking, wood stairs, and down to the basement.

A loud door slamming echoed throughout the house.

Dean followed her, pounding on the door.

"Sky, c'mon! Come out already." He demanded.

There was no reply, except for her pure silence.

"Sky, there's no reason to be so upset. Did I do something? Is it me?"

She threw the door open, staring him dead-straight in the eyes.

"So now everything's about you?! Other people have shitty days too, you know, Dean!"

Confusion laced onto the slightly older male's features.

"Sky, please talk to me about it."

"No!" She shouted.

There was more than just Juliard that had her angry.

"Sky-"

"Dean, shut up!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, her voice booming throughout the building.

"Do you think I'm dumb, Dean!? Well, I'm not! I saw you with that bitch at the mall again! You say she's "just a friend"! Well let me tell you something; I really fucking doubt that!"

Dean stared blankly.

Skylar stormed past him, up the stairs.

Anger began to form on his features.

He followed her.

"Well, if you don't trust me then maybe we should break up!" He screamed as the couple entered the kitchen.

By now, her eyes had been glossy, like newly cut glass.

"Fine!" She replied.

Within minutes, Dean had been walking out the door, angrily.
