Today is the day that we go to prom. Just me and my friends, my best friends. It'll be Elizabeth, Marisa, Caroline, Malinda, and Jessie. Just the 5 of us. Elizabeth and I have been best friends since we were 2 years old. She just gets me and she's my best friend. Then there's me Marisa, I'm basically best friends with all these girls, and I've learned a few things from the world. Caroline is a very bubbly happy girl. She loves wearing flower headbands in her hair, and occasionally wears a special headband with flowers and little antlers in her hair. Malinda likes to draw. She is one of my very artistic kind of my friends. She makes beautiful pictures that inspire me to do special things. Jessie is a special girl. She came to our class last year and she is already our best friend. She just has that little spark. These are my best friends. They always will be. Today we are going to go get our nails done, our hair done, pick up our jewelry, pick up our dresses, and finally pick up our shoes. We are all doing this together. We don't have dates to go to prom because this is a special prom. A girls prom.
