Bearpaw stood by his mentor at the edge of thunder clan territory next to wind clan. They were exploring the land and Bearpaw was so excited that his first day as an apprentice he got to explore the territory . Sunpaw and her mentor were a couple fox lengths away hunting. "Can i learn how hunt too haziltail?" Asked bearpaw . "Not today we're going back to camp soon so you can do some apprentice duties." Replied haziltail . "But..." Haziltail let out a murro of laughter "no buts" she replied.
Back at camp bearpaw cleaned out the elders den while foxpaw got the moss. "Hey make sure the bedding not wet this time I don't want to be stiff again okay" mousefur complained again. Bearpaw flicked his tail in acknowledgement mousefur always complains about every thing she can. Why can't I be out hunting like sun paw .
After cleaning the elders den him and foxpaw went to get some freshkill bearpaw got a plump vole to share with foxpaw "so how was your first day as an apprentice "
" good I guess but know I have to sit vigil tonight and I'm really tired"

The next morning after bearpaw a vigil he went to go try some battle moves at the hallo where he would meet sunpaw .when he was about ten fox lengths from camp someone talked to him, "hello bearpaw "bearpaw heard the voice but couldn't tell where it was from. Then a dark tabby Walked out from the undergrowth. I must be dreaming it can't be him he is dead! The shadowy figure walked up to bearpaw until they were nose to nose "you don't belong in thunder clan you must find your true place and it's not here" meowed the dark figure before bearpaw could ask the cat what he was talking about he was already fading away .
