~HARRY~

"Hello Harry." She sends the smile I have been waiting to see, and then she walks out of the café.

I turn the napkin over in my hand to reveal the number she left on it. I dig around in my pocket for my phone. Once I've found it I put her number in and send her a quick text.
~from Harry: so you really wanna hear more about my troubled past?

With in a few minutes I get a reply back.
~from Hazel: sure why not. 😊
~*~
I want to know more about hazel. She just fascinates me. Her laugh, her smile, the way she listens I mean really listens when she is interested in something and the way she doesn't like to say goodbye.

Does saying goodbye scare her? I want to find out.
~from Harry: how come you don't say goodbye hazel? Is it because saying goodbye makes you sound like you are leaving forever?
~~*~~

~HAZEL~

My phone buzzes On my night stand signaling in have a new message. I pick it up and see Harry's name flash across the screen.
~from Harry: how come you don't say goodbye hazel? Is it because saying goodbye makes you sound like you are leaving forever?

His question took me by surprise. I don't say goodbye because it does make it sound like I am never coming back.
~from Hazel: what an odd thing to ask a stranger. Yes saying goodbye to me, sounds like I'm saying I'm leaving forever. That's why I never say it.

I set my phone back down in its place. I cover my self with my duvet and slowly fall asleep to the sound of nothing but the wind outside.
