Your POV:
I was chilling in my front room watching Britain's got talent on my own since my friend Jay cancelled on me at last minute . I was fed up now its twice now he's cancelled on me in the past two days and when ether I text him he never answered. Me and Jay meet about two weeks ago in a club in London we since then became really close friends but now he was distance from me.
"Right that's it!" I said to myself I turned of the TV and put on my shoes and grabbed my coat and closed the door behind me as I headed towards Jays house.
Jays POV:
"Elizabeth Im wondering would you like to go on a date with me?"
I looked down towards my lizard Neytiri who was just sat there staring at me.
"No I don't think so Neytiri either " I said , I was about to try again until there was a knock at the door.
Who can that be? I thought to myself I got off and walked towards the door to find a angry Elizabeth.
Your POV:
"Oh so know you open the door to me" I said as I let myself in.
"what's wrong Liz?" Jay asked not knowing what he done wrong.
"Why have you been avoiding me for the past few days jay have I done something wrong? , Don't you want to be friends with me anymore? I shouted.
"No of course not , Liz" Jay said confused.
"Then why have you been avoiding me?" I shouted back.
Jay let out a sigh and drew something out of his pocket and handed it to me I unfolded it to find a leaflet for Notting Hill Carnival next week, I stared at the leaflet in shock.
"I was going to ask you to come with me ...as a date?" Jay said.
I looked at him in shock.
"You don't have to if you don't want to but I really like you and .." Jay mumbled
"Yes" I said
"Yes?" Jay said shocked.
I went up to him a placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Yes, I would like to go on a date with you" I said.
"Thank god, now is Britain's got talent still on?" Jay asked.
"Ummm yes" I said confused.
"Well lets go and watch it then" Jay said as he grabbed my hand a dragged me into the living room.
I was now happy,I got my best friend back and a date next week , My life couldn't get any better atm.
