Axel Luckett (Above)

I don't know much about this insanely popular, totally badass, asshole. But I do know this: Practically the entire school is wrapped around his finger, besides me and a few others who aren't completely stupid or brain dead. A few years ago, Axel's parents were rumored to be getting divorced. The kid acted as if he didn't have a care in the world. I guess his reckless behavior from then just became a habit. And with both of his rich parents neglecting him, still living under the same roof, and barely accompanying him, He became popular for his wild parties. After getting away with this sort of thing, he decided to push a little harder. guns, drugs, the whole gang-leader facade.

Skipp Lancaster (Jack Gilinsky)

Skipp, honestly, was an opened book. He wasn't the brightest guy in school, but his crazy good looks made up for it, his impressive fashion sense and ridiculously hot bod made girls swoon over him. I mean, practically all the girls at Maze were slowly and unknowingly falling for him. I am no exception. What? He's hot!

Johnson Carpenter (Douglas Booth)

I know extremely little about Johnson. I'm aware of how many girlfriends he had ever had; very little, even though girls practically threw themselves at him. All the guys in the gang were obviously very attractive. People have their predictions. Some think he's gay, some think he's too busy or too focused on schoolwork. I guess you could say Johnson is more of a nerd. He's the one feeding them answers for the math quiz, and planning home invasions based on codes and logic. He's the brains.

Owen Sandler (Logan Lerman)

To be honest, Owen Sandler was the last person I'd expect to be in this type of gang. But, over the years I've found out that he's been used for his innocence. Adults don't see him as someone who'd sell drugs or do whatever pointless illegal things the gang finds themselves entertaining. Also, he's only in the gang because his parents are pretty poor, meaning he's doing whatever he can to help them. That's the kind of person he is.

Although i don't exactly get along with any of the boys, I have to admit that their lives do seem pretty fun. They're completely independent and spend all of their time doing whatever they want, without a care in the world.

I, unfortunately, have endless responsibilities. I begin to daydream about how badass it would be to be part of a gang. Like, imagine me, Flynn Callister, bein in a whole gang with drugs an stuff. I snort at the thought.

yeah right

The most illegal thing I've ever done is procrastinate paying a speeding ticket. I'd never fit in with them, nor would I really even want to.

ugh, why do I keep even thinking about them?

I get out of my own head when I'm interrupted by the last bell of the day, and I happily hurry out of class, checking texts an notifications I may have gotten through that dreadful class.

twitter: @AX-LUCKETT FOLLOWED YOU!

twitter: @PAPII_SKIPP FOLLOWED YOU!

twitter: @OWENSANDLER FOLLOWED YOU!

twitter: @JOHNNCARPENTER02 FOLLOWED YOU!

twitter: @AX-LUCKETT SENT YOU A PRIVATE MESSAGE: "Yo, the boys and I need a fav..."

My eyes widen at the sight of all of the unexpected twitter notifications. I can't even process my confusion. I click on the message from Axel.

@ AX-LUCKETT: Yo, the boys n I need a favor, lemme call u

@ BABYCALLISTER: What makes you think I'd do you a favor?

He types back rather quickly, and I don't know whether to take his reply seriously or not.

@ AX-LUCKETT: If u don't wanna talk on the phone I'll just show at ur house.

@ AX-LUCKETT: I'm fine with talking in person.

@ BABYCALLISTER: Lmao. You don't know where I live. Nice try tho

@ AX-LUCKETT: Cheyanne

@ AX-LUCKETT: She's friends w my sister

@ AX-LUCKETT: I drop her off at your house all the time, babe

At the mention of my sister, I quickly oblige to whatever the hell Axel wanted my number for. Sending it, I see an unfamiliar number pop up on my screen, knowing that it's him, I answer, walking out of the school and heading to my car.

"What?" I snap, irritation and anger clearly laced in my voice. I was hoping to surprise or even slightly intimidate him, but I hear a chuckle on the line.

"Hello to you too, Flynn."

"Why did you call me?" I hop in my toyota, staring it. "What do you want?"

"Did you just start your car?"

"Yeah?"

"Perfect timing! You can come pick the boys and I up"

I snort unattractively at his words.

"And why would I do that?"

"We need a car." He says, like I'm stupid and he's explaining to a four year old. "And you have one. Don't worry, we only need to borrow it for tonight and we can drop you off at home."

I unattractively snort a second time. He must be high or something. Why would I put myself in a situation to trust these guys?

"Funny." Is all I say, and I contemplate hanging up after that, but Axel speaks very quickly, a clearly menacing tone in his voice.

"Flynn, I advise you to do what I say." He clears his throat. "You do know who I am, don't you?"
