It was 12 in the afternoon and you were sitting on the couch scrolling through Instagram when you got a text, from the group chat with Chris, Ethan and yourself in it. Chris and Ethan both lived next door to you and you lived in the middle of both there houses, they both were your best friends.

C - hey guys, meet you outside at 1?
E- sounds good, see u then.
Y- sure, why?
C- show you when we get there.
Y- ok? see you then
You started to get suspicious usually when this happened they were planning some stupid prank to play on you, but it seemed serious this time. You had a MASSIVE crush on Ethan but you never wanted to ruin the friendship between the three of you so you just kept quiet about your feelings.
You ran upstairs and got changed because you were planning on having a lazy day and you were still in your pj's but you didn't wanna look like a weirdo in your pyjama pants covered in kittens in front of Ethan. After putting on a cute casual outfit you put a little mascara on and headed out and waited for the boys.
Chris's POV
I saw Y/N sitting on the steps outside she looked gorgeous I wondered how she could manage to look so beautiful every single moment of her life.
Ethan's POV
She was sitting on her stairs and she looked so pretty, I needed to talk to her. She turned to see me staring at her through my window, it was kinda embarrassing but she just smiled and waved, I waved back and walked away from the window.
Your POV
Ethan looked so cute with his hair messy and his eyes staring straight into mine, why does he have to be so cute? You thought to yourself, at least you thought you did. You heard a voice come from the right.
"Why does who have to be so cute??"
It was Ethan, you felt so stupid.
"Omg, did I actually say that out loud?"
You awkwardly responded.
"Yes, are you gonna answer my question or what?"
He answered back with a smirk on his face.
"Uhh, I was just thinking about uhmm Cameron, Cameron Dallas..."
you were such an awkward person but you just couldn't help it and you really couldn't admit that you were actually thinking about Ethan.
The smirk on Ethan's face became wider and turned into a big smile.
"C,mon Y/N don't lie to me"
Ethan said as he walked over and sat on the space on the stare next to you.
He moved slightly closer to you and whispered into your ear.
"If it makes you feel any better I think your cute too."
Your heart started beating faster because you knew what he was about to do.
One of his hands wrapped around you waist and pulled you onto his lap, and his other hand lifted your now tomato red face to look at his. Before you knew it your lips were connected but it didn't feel right and you knew it didn't feel right for Ethan either as he let go of you waist quickly and placed you back on the stair next to you. There was an awkward silence between the both of you, before Ethan quickly blurted out.
"I'm so sorry I thought there we had someth-"
You interrupted him by saying
" don't worry I thought there was something there too but obviously we were both wrong". You said with a slight giggle at the end making Ethan smile.
"Let's just forget about it then?" He said.
"Definately" you replied it was finally 1 and the awkwardness between you two was over and Chris finally came out you could see he made a huge effort today and you weren't sure why. You all walked down to the park together talking about random stuff and you and Ethan didn't bring up the kiss and you weren't planning too, until Chris said "so what happened between you too before, don't bother trying to lie I saw it" he sounded like he was angry. "Well we thought there was something between us but there wasn't and were just gonna forget about it and move on" Ethan said and you smiled at him showing him and Chris that you agreed with Ethan. Chris shrugged it off and mumbled "whatever". "What's gotten you down today grumpy guts" you said nudging him in his side. "Can I talk to you for a moment, please, In Private" Chris quietly said and you looked at Ethan he nodded giving you approval to leave him and go with Chris.
You walked with Chris and you could tell he was getting worked up about something. "So what did you want to talk about?" You said breaking the silence.
He stopped walking and held both of your hands you were shocked but didn't let go of felt so right to be holding his hands.
"Y/N I've liked you since the first day I met you when we were 11 first I thought it was a silly little crush but for the past two years my feelings for you have gotten so strong and I didn't want to ruin our amazing friendship but I just can't hide my feelings anymore" he was looking down the whole time he said this but he finally looked up and you could see a tear in his eye you went to wipe it away but out of no where you felt his lips smash onto yours and it wasn't like the kiss with Ethan it was different it felt right it felt like there was electricity running through your whole body and you liked it, you liked Chris. You started to walk back to Ethan hand in hand and sat down on the bench where Ethan was, still not letting go of each other's hands. Ethan smiled at you both and winked at Chris before we all walked home.
