At Berk
Stoick's POV
It has been 3 weeks since the death of my son and astrid Hofferson. 3 weeks without the two lads, 3 weeks with no dragon raid.
I sulked quietly at the dock, just standing reflecting all the thing I missed on becoming a great father for hiccup.
I was standing there, waiting for some news on the nightfury. when I looked at the ocean and look at the nearing ship to the docks. When the first man set foot on the dock I helped him and ask.
"I hoped you had any luck?" I asked him and he just shook his head, " But we have other news for you stoick!" The other Viking yelled and it was spitelout.
"And what would that be?" I asked him and helped him.
"When we were nearing this strange island. We saw a gigantic dragon laying lifeless, its size it is unbelievable it was there lying on the island floor with a lot of burn marks over it." Spitelout said to me and I look at him confuse.
"If what your saying us true, but what island did you go to, and what could have killed it?" I asked spitelout as we were nearing the great hall.
"The island was Dragon island." I stopped my tracks and looked at him.
"What do you mean Dragon island!?" I asked him and he nodded his head. "But we can't even get close to that island!" I said in disbelief.
"It is the dragon island, we saw our crashed ship there stoick! How could you not explained that, that is our ships, we saw the beast lying there death. When we enter the mountain it was empty but full of foods there." He exclaimed and I gave him a confuse look at his end of the sentence.
"Full of foods?" I asked him and he nodded. "Aye you heard me right, foods all the foods that the beast took from us was there, stoick what if maybe that the dragons are not taking foods because they wanted to but they were forced to!" He said.
I sighed at his statement I pat his back and I went back to the forest where my son grave was there.
I removed my helmet and I knelt there.
"This would be the a lonely snoggletog" I said in between cries I was full of it.
I reflected once again all the wring thing I did to hiccup, I ignored him I did not even have time for my son on his own birthday.
I cried once again, after a while I heard a rustling of leaves in the background I quickly wiped my tears of and put my helmet back, when the source of it was bearing I saw gobber.
"Gobber? What brings you here?" I asked him and he just walked towards me.
"Stoick I know its hard but you need to move own, the village needs you, hiccup would be happy to be with her mother in Valhalla, and the village needs there chief stoick!" He said and I frowned when I heard the name Valka, he was right I need to move on nothing will change if I DON'T move own, but its hard, to be lonely all my life till my death.
"Gobber ready Snotlout to the great hall, I'm going to offer him to become chief!" As I said that he shook his head.
"Could you at least take others for example Fishlegs the one that has" gobber said pointing on his head.
"That is final now go!" I said and he just sighed and left me I once again looked at the grave and sighed I took a deep breath and said, "Be happy with your mother hiccup" as I said that I left the cove and went to the village.
At the Sanctuary
King's POV
I was surprised when astrid gave hiccup the bread, but hiccup throw up the bread he ate. I laughed as I know why he threw it up.
"Father why did hiccup did that, I mean the bread was fine when I tasted it?" Astrid asked me and I chuckle once more then I looked at Valka looking at me.
I bit my tongue once more and a little blood flow through it and I let a snow blood breeze, I makes it sure that Valka would inhale it all.
When she inhaled it all she clasped her hand to her ear, it is working.
"Remove your hands Valka!" I said and she did.
"What, how could I understand you?!" She said panicking and we all chuckled at her.
"Do not be afraid all will be make clear to you!" I said as I chuckled once more.
"You better my king, now about hiccup what was that about?" She asked me and I nodded and answer her question.
"What hiccup did there was normal, I have good news and bad news the good news is that Hiccup would be fine and Healthy, But the bad news is that he will not be able to eat normal human foods for example, meat, egg, and vegetable. But he will be able to eat Fish, Chicken and some fruits." I said finishing all they need to know.
"Umm father?" I heard hiccup coming closer then I look at him.
"What is it son?" I asked him.
"Do you perhaps have any spare fish there?" He asked then I nodded, I barfed a lot of fish.
"Okay that is gross!" Said Valka and Astrid nodded as I saw hiccup coming closer to the fishes.
"Umm hiccup what are you doing?" Asker astrid.
"What do you think I'm doing I'm eating!" He said as he ate all the fishes in his hand, we were confused there were a lot of fishes that could feed an army of terrible terrors but it was gone.
"Son?" I said
"Hmm, what is it dad?" He replied
"What happen to the fishes?" I asked
"I ate them" he said plainly
"IT WAS RAW!" I heard Valka and astrid said.
"It was delicious!" He said back and started to eat, I chuckle at the sight and all the dragons was laughing at the sight as well.
"For a small body you have a big appetite!" I heard toothless yelled.
"Shut up I was hungry!" Hiccup yelled as it seems that he had regained his strength back.
We laughed at his statement, after a while I need to tell them all they need to know, what they would face and what they need to do.
"Yes father we would do anything" not hiccup and astrid said laughing and I as well laughed at the sight they made.
"You both have a long journey ahead of you, you two must train hard and save our kin!" As I said that they both nodded and they hugged me
