A Bid Farewell (One Shot)

Lucas' Pov

It was an gloomy morning, I don't know what's going on.. but it feels that... something isn't right.

The wind blows smoothly and It feels chilly outside, the trees were swaying as if they are dancing synchronized. The red - orange leaves fell on the ground.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now. Before, I was just a cold-hearted man, I feel nothing. That was before I met her. She changed my world, she made me realized that I have a purpose in life, She told me that I should be happy and smile always. But I never showed my true color to her, I always let her suffer from my stubbornness and coldness to her. I always made her cry, I want to sweep away her tears but my pride always swallow me. I wasn't able to show her how I like her, how I deeply care for her, I always help her in things but it is secretly, I don't want her to know that ......

Kringggg. Kringgggg. Krinnnggg 

Hello? this is Lucas what do you need?

W-Wait What?! Ok, I'll go there as fast as I can. K thanks,Bye.

I hang the call then run to my car and drive as fast as I can. She's in critical condition right now, I don't know what happened, I am afraid, afraid to lose her. I parked my car and run to the Emergency Room quickly. I saw her parents outside, they looked sad and depressed, I felt kinda' broken, it feels like there is an unfortunate news for me.

Are you Lucas? her mother said

Yes, I am. What happened to her? please I beg you. Tell me. 

Her mother gave me a letter instead of telling me why. I go to the park where we've met before, then I look at the letter, it is made from an old type paper, it is inside a brown envelop with the stamp of her favorite sanrio character.

Dear Lucas,

All my life I am hiding into your shadows,
following your steps and following your orders.
I am afraid, afraid of what you can do,
I think as much as I can, how can I tell you my feelings.
I am afraid to tell you that I am suffering from a heart disease.
But still I'd like to know you, 
Behind those scary eyes and posture of yours.
Sometimes  I think if, Am I important to you?
I don't know why are you treating me like nothing.
Did I do something you didn't like?
Please..., tell me so I can change.
Do you think I am too crazy for your attention?
I-I just wanted to change you ... don't worry it is better  for you.

I want a smile, a pure smile showing your true self.

You know what, as days comes and pass,
It seems that you want me out of your life
I'm sorry and thank you for being part of my life.
I may not able to see you again,
At least I have bid farewell, forgiveness and gratitude to you,
No matter how often you hurt me by your stubbornness,
I still LOVE you, even if it's just one sided.
Please promise me that after you read this,
Start to smile and continue to care for the people important to you.

I'm sure that I've already passed out when you're reading this. 
I'm sorry I don't tell you about this,
I hope you'll forgive me and please don't forget me.
Don't worry I'm already happy now, I hope you too.
Remember that all of you will always be in my heart.

After I read it,  tears start flowing from my eyes, it looks like it don't want to stop,
I hate the fact that , I've never show her how much I-I really love her, 
Angela, It's never your fault, It's all my fault.
You don't need to apologize because I should be the one to apologize. 

Ha-ha-ha-ha It's really true that If I Take those chances and you can achieve greatness, whereas if you go conservative, you'll never know. I truly believe what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Even if you fail, learning and moving on is sometimes the best thing. But I never did that.
I've never take the risk, to get what I want.
Maybe if I-I did have c-courage back then, she could be so happy and she'll n-never feel what she           f-feels before she d-died.

I'm SORRY Angela, I LOVE you Too.
