Second Chance

Chapter 1

Jessica's POV
Sigh! Another hard day at paddling practice. I enter my 4 bedroom house , go up to my room and slammed my door and slid down it. Thinking:Why does the oldest one on my girls team have to be so mean to me? Heck even the girls in my crew are excluding me from stuff and I haven't done anything to them except for being nice to them. And they still treat me like garage. I look down at my forearm and see dried up scars. I go to my bathroom take a shower and cry. Then change and lie down cry so more. Thinking: At least when we go to Kona, Hawaii for the 6 mile race it won't get worse right? I mean I will be with my big sisters and they'll watch out for me right?
No one's POV
As Jessica continues to cry. River walks into her room sits on the bed and Jessie crawls into her lap and whimpers into River's chest as she tries to calm her down.
Jessica'sPOV
I look up at my sister after I finally stopped crying 45 minutes later. I told her how the girls at practice were being mean to me. She told me that she was going to call my coach to talk about it. I agreed and crawled off of her and she got up left my room.
River's POV
I leave Jessie's room and go to my room and sit down on my bed. Arghhh! I am so done with those girls at practice picking on my little sister just because she's different! This is so frustrating!
I mean seriously those girls need to grow up and suck it up already ! In about a week we're leaving for Kona and all the girls will be stuck in a hotel room together! I hope they get their act together by then.
I walk out of my room and go down stairs to the kitchen to the pantry and grabbed some chips and sat on the couch and turned on the tv to a new episode of walking dead.
Jessica's POV
I am so happy that River and Raven are in my life. Also happy about how River and I got to live with our oldest sister, Raven since our parents got deported back to Brazil. I miss them alot, but its okay they said that they're coming back soon.
No one's POV
As Jessie walked down the stairs she saw a girl dressed in all black walk through her front door.
Jessie started screaming and ran away from the girl ,but the girl grabbed Jessie by the waist and lifted her a foot and a half off the ground. And Jessie was kicking and screaming until the girl said "OUCH! Jessie it's me Raven!! Stop kicking me!! As soon as she said Raven Jessie stopped resisting and relaxed. She said " I'm sorry Raven " and kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug. And Raven put her down and returned the hug. Raven said" So how was practice? "
