Chapter 1 - Blooming

Collin's P.O.V
I was hesitant to walk into the classroom, I didn't know what to expect or what my classmates would think of me...
I just knew that there was no turning back.
I pushed open the door to see a class full of people I didn't know,
I stood there at the entrance not knowing where I should sit down.

I caught a glimpse of a girl, without doubt she was beautiful. She had brown wavy hair, pale skin, amazing eyes and she looked angelic as she was focused on her book.
I saw her look up from her book to have her focus on me. I felt my heart tense up; was this what people claim as love at first sight?

A woman who appears to be my teacher walks towards me with a welcoming smile,
"Hello, what's your name?"
"C-collin.." I mutter,
She made me sit next to the girl who intrigued me moments ago,
"H-hi" I manage to say with all my bravery,
"Hi, Collin.", she smiles; even her voice complimented her appearance.
She returns back to her reading, but my eyes did not lose contact from her.

Lunch time finally commenced, I stepped out of the classroom and a recognisable face got into my view, it was the girl from earlier. I watched her walk down the hallway and I couldn't help but follow her.
I saw her meet up with her friends, she was the one who stood out the most; her smile was breath taking.
Suddenly, I saw a boy walk towards her, they seemed like they knew eachother pretty well... I felt a rush of anger but I assumed that they were only friends; I brushed it off and continued my day.

A short period of time ended, and I managed to find out that the boy's name was Daniel, he was a friendly guy who seems like someone I'd be in good terms with. Out of nowhere he brings up the subject, "girls."
"Hey dude, who are you interested in currently?" Daniel asks,
"I'm not sure," I lied,
"I have my eyes on a girl named Lucy, she's in one of your classes I heard,"
Daniel hands me his phone, his cameraroll was filled with pictures of someone very familiar,
"Lucy..." I say to myself,
"Yeah- What do you think?"
"She's really pretty," I laugh,
"She's going to be mine though," Daniel smirked and walked off.
