Chapter 5: Pretty Boy?

I woke up with an alarm clock ringing. I turn it off and went to the bathroom to take a bath. After taking a bath, I prepared myself with a civilian clothes since I still haven't got my uniform. Maybe I should get that this coming Saturday.

I went outside to go to room 138 to see my sister.

I knocked which made her open the door and let me come in. I sat in the sofa comfortably with the bag on my side. " Hey! Make it fast, we still need to go down to have some breakfast."

"Okay, just a second," She said while putting a light makeup on her bare face.

"Do you really need to put that on?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Not really. The professor said that it only depends on us, but for better just put a light make up." She answered. When she finished, we went outside and ate our meal.

We're on our way to the parking lot to get the car who will make us arrive in our own destination in a faster way.

My sister dropped me in the front the school's gate again. She bid her goodbye before going. I went inside the campus just to see just a few students busy making their way to each's classrooms. Am I just an early bird?

They don't need to go in a specific place anyway before going to their classrooms because locker itself is already inside their homerooms.

I directly go to my classroom. When I entered, I only saw three students talking and having fun with each other but paused when they saw me. I didn't saw them yesterday? By chance, are they the absent students? But I didn't my thoughts bother me and just went to my seat. And that made them continue their chit- chat.

Minutes have passed, and little by little my classmates arrive.

"Mika!" The pathetic happily said while running towards me. "Just like what the deal settled, we should always be together for today and tomorrow, right? I'm excited to know you better. I bet you're a nice girl an—" He hadn't finished his words when I shouted, enough for only him could hear.

"Will you shut up?!"

"... Or not really." Then his shoulder fall that made him cute. Yuck.

"Don't try to act cute! It doesn't suit you." I said boringly. I turned my head in front of the board so that my attention from him would go away.

"But I'm not! Or it's just you find me real cute. Ayiee~ You didn't even tell me that you had a little crush on me since the first time you laid your eyes on me." He said while poking me in my side. In my curv—Nah! Nevermind!

"Assuming. Whatever!" I respond but nothing happened, he still continue teasing me.

"No need to be shy, I understand you, I'm used with that. Every girl in this school expressed their love to me." When will you stop, huh?!

"Well, don't count me in. I don't even like yo—"

He interrupted me. "'Cause you loved me already. This is the so-called thing 'Whirlwind Romance'. But sorry Mika, before you get my heart, you have to court me just like what other girls in our school doing to me." What the hikc is he saying?! So pathetic, right? "But don't worry, since you're a little exemption, I won't let you wait for too long. Instead, I will answer you right away." He still blabbering. "By the way, no need to buy me some chocolate or sweets as a present cause 'ya know, I don't want to be a diabetic person. And a diabetic person dies early. If I die early you can't see me again. I can't stay with you longer. And that will make you come up with a decision to suicide so that we'll see and be together in heaven. So don't ever buy me sweets, okay?"

I stared at him. "Are you okay?"

"I like you too," He answered while smiling.

"What are you talking? Sorry, but I can't like you, bro. We should only stay as a stranger, we can't also start a friendship. I don't wanna fall for you even harder." I go with the flow, but not literally. Tss...

"What?! Why?! Is there something or someone that betweens us? Tell me! I can't believe that the person who loves me is also the person who will give me my first heartbreak!" He acting as if he was really hurt.

"I'm really sorry. Please stay away from me from now on. If you really care for me, make me happy. AND MY HAPPINESS IS, YOU STOP GOING AFTER ME." I emphasize my last statement. His mouth opens, leaving a few gap. His reaction right now is very priceless. Tss! So that thing can only make you shut, huh?

"Don't do it personally! I'm just fooling around. No! I'm not going to stay away from you!" He protested.

"Fine. Whatever!"

Miss Kim entered the room and checked the attendance. "Oh! So the three absents yesterday is now here with us today. Please introduce yourselves." She command.

The three student I saw earlier went to the front and give a very short introduction.

"I'm Junghan. And I am an old student here. It is good to be here." Said the guy with has long hair for a man.

"I'm Joshua. I'm Korean-America. It was nice to see you again." The guy with dark hair. So I'll just describe them by their hair to make it easier.

"I'm Jun. I'm also not a Korean. I'm a Chinese instead." The guy with brown hair.

"Okay, please take your seat." Then they make their way to its seating arrangement. I don't know, but I couldn't take off my eyes from them. It's like they're seeking my attention alone. Flower boys, eh? Ew.

"Class, I'm going to leave for now for my next schedule, wait for your next teacher. By the way Mika, we're not yet done." She looked at me again before goes away. What is it again right now?! Can't she just accept the fact that I rejected her proposal?!

"What did you do again, Mika? Do really wanna bring out the tiger inside of Miss Kim's body." He said like it was my choice was the most unbelievable thing he know.

"Why? Can't she just accept that I rejected her proposal?" This is so irritating like D-U-H!

"Wh-what? You declined her proposal? Don't you know that Miss Kim is a persistent person? She will do everything just to make you take back your answer!" Him, giving me knowledge about Miss Kim.

"Well. Try me," I smirk.

Mr. Jang entered and started his class right after greeting.
