An Unexpected Visit~

Ah yes another day slaving away at the local market, I said as another sad looking customer started walking away to whatever the hell they do when they get home. Time was passing by slowly and we only had around thirty more minutes to go, I was already packing up but of course another customer came my way and the manager gave me one of "those" looks you know the ones that are like "serve that customer or we are going to have a serious long boring talk later" so I opened my isle and gave them a smile "Hello miss how are you today?" I asked to the wrinkly old woman who has looked like she has had too much plastic surgery in her youth "oh yes im good young man" her voice sounding frail I nod and smile back starting to swipe the groceries under the scanner "Did you hear about Handsome jack gone missin' some people say he was killed" I laugh it off and reply cheerfully "I don't think anyone can kill handsome jack" I finish scanning everything and was about to put the last item in but my robot hand stopped and I could feel it clench tighter until I heard the large crushing sound of an apple then it lets go making the remnants of the apple drop to the floor, I was shocked I could feel the blood drain from my face. "I-im so sorry miss I w-will give you a refund f-or that, my arm must be acting up again" but the old woman said nothing for the first few seconds but just stared at me like she could see somethinand then finally after it felt like a lifetime she shouted "It I-its him!" the old woman backing away from me, I felt scared and confused sweating more than I should "M-miss" I ask my voice cracking "Get away from me!" surprised by how loud she was. Oh no here comes my manager "Excuse me miss what seems to be the problem" she asked with that faked concern "it's him! Its handsome jack I saw him!" "No no miss this is just a Cashier his name is Rhys" as confused as I was. Soon after the manager calmed her down she helped the old woman with her groceries to her car I could still hear that old woman ramble on about it.

Before I knew it my bus trip home was over and I was back to my one person apartment oh and of course my cat but even she was distant and didn't want human company. I went back to eating my dinner of one, not very appetising but I can live of this. As I went to scoop another mouthful of Spaghettios but my robot hand started to freak out again and threw the spoon across the room making a mess of Spaghettios on the wall. A robotic voice spoke out to me "Man how do you eat that stuff kiddo that's disgusting" the mysterious voice spoke out to me confused and slightly frightened "Wait what who are you where are you?" the voice sounded familiar but I couldn't remember who it could be "Im in your brain dumb dumb" I flip over my bowl of sad Spaghettios "finally get rid of whatever that was" the voice spoke again.

"Who are you!?" I yelled afraid
"I can't believe you kiddo, don't even know your own saviour" the voice laughed

I stood there scared and afraid there he was our missing president right in my home.

Im freaking out in, I stumble over the chair I was sitting on knocking me onto the floor hitting my head leaving a sharp pain in my head. I couldn't focus I just kept starring at him. "What's the matter never had the President in your home before" he said wittily, handsome jack got closer to me looking at my name badge "C-Rhys huh that's a funny name what are you some Greek god" pronouncing my name in different more humiliating ways laughing at me the whole] time, I only starred in horror. I finally found the courage to speak up after he was finished laughing at his own jokes "S-so what do you want more importantly what are you doing in my head!?" I asked quietly Handsome Jack looked at me a big smirk on his face "well to start im going to kill you then im going back to my mansion and kill some more people" still laughing and smiling. Jack could see I had fear in my eyes and I quickly started to scatter away on all four of my hands like a defenceless pup. "Come on im just going to strangle you a little, come on just once" he spoke casually walking towards me, unfortunately I didn't get very far my head hit the wall and there was no where I could go, I sat there against the wall my eyes wide starring at Jack waiting for him to finish me off but he couldn't his arm went straight through me. He kept trying just as confused as I was but it came clear to me Handsome jack was a hologram.

Handsome jack looked as shocked as I was, but I gained some of my confidence back. I was less scared than before knowing that he couldn't hurt me I still felt somewhat intimidating and he was taking advantage of that but it was slowly fading every time he tried to strangle me. I stand up tall not exactly reaching his height but now I know he can't strangle me which is good

"So Jack I think we have to come to some sort of an agreement right"
Jack sneered "Look kiddo jack doesn't make deals with anyone, especially you"

"Guess you don't have a choice then" pointing my finger at him
He let out a long exaggerated sigh "Fine then big C you win, you sort out a plan I'll be here in your noggin" he blew me a kiss and disappeared.

Ugh jack you put me in a very difficult position here buddy! I shouted to nothing. A well jack life all the way on Helios one and to get on its cost like a whole five year salary, it might be costly but I think I'll make its work it will just take time.
