"Hmm oh hi, I don't think we have met."
"Yeah we haven't my name is Maddy"
"my name is ghost I just moved in not too long ago"
"oh cool" i sat down in the booth and Sally came running over to me she sat down on my lap and, looked up at me. I continue what I was doing as she started to sing song. Ghost continue doing her thing I believe she was making breakfast and Sally was helping her, anyways I was wondering what that blue blob was on the couch. It might be Ben because Jeff did say that Ben has been asleep for a while. I wanted to wake him up but I remembered he gets cranky if someone wakes him up I just had to wait until he woke up his self.
I wonder how long that takes. As Ghost finish doing what she's doing she sat plate in front of me, it was a egg sandwich with two pieces of bacon and 3 sausage patties i thanked her as she sat another plate beside it. It was a plate of pancakes of different shapes a teddy bear, a baby doll missing the head, and a knife I guess that was meant for Sally. I say there eating my breakfast until we heard a noise coming from the living room. The three of us jumped up and ran out the room.
We walked into the room, we saw Jeff and Toby standing in front of the couch. I moved over to see the blue blob laying on the floor spread out. I was right it was Ben but there's something wrong he was pale, paler than laughing Jack I guess. He looked terrible i wanted to know what was wrong but I didn't say anything. I just felt something touch my shoulder I looked over to see who it was.
It was Jack. It didn't surprise me at all, he probably thought this is the time I can get with her. He pulled me into a hug I had no idea what was going on I just let it happened. Jeff and Toby were looking at me like I was supposed to know what's going on like seriously I have no knowledge of what's happening. Toby kneeled down and checked Ben's pulse.
"Guys we um you know...."
"NO!!" I screamed. L.J holding me tighter
"Maddy I'm sorry"
"Toby {insert last chapter's promise and title here}"
"I'm sorry Maddy but I can't promise you that. Ben is dead and there nothing we can do."
I dropped down to my knees. I can't believe this its not true. There lying. Ben is not dead he can be.
As everyone left, Ghost sat there with me. "Everything will be OK Maddy I promise." She said with her soft voice. I looked at her and smiled, she smiled back and softly kissed my forehead.
"Come on let's get some sleep you've had a long day today."
"Ok."
