Chapter 1

That Boy

Dave's point of view

Roxy, Dirk, and Jake were going through the same thing, no one remembered Jane. All 6 of us were walking to school, it was 7:30 am so we didn't have to rush. "Have you heard of the new kids?" Roxy tried starting a conversation. "Yeah Joey Claire and Jude Harley." Dirk spoke

"Hey are you okay you seemed distance today." Rose looked at me. "Yeah. I'm just thinking about John." I looked at her, her eyes were filled with pain. "You guys Roxy and I need to tell you something very important." Rose stood in front of us.

Roxy sighed and stood next to Rose, "We can see the uhhh." "We can see the recently deceased." We stared at the two blondes. "Does that mean you can see Janey and John?!" Jake held his hands close to his chest as he leaned towards them.

Rose looked down at the floor and shook her head no. "Their not dead, they're alive. John is the wind and Jane is life, just the way I'm the Seer of Light, Dave is the Knight of Time, Jade the Witch of Space, Roxy the Rouge of Void, Dirk the Prince of Heart, and you Jake, the Page of Hope. They became who they were meant to be."

Roxy looked Jake straight in the eyes. "They became who they destined to be. We were the burdens-." Rose elbowed Roxy's side.

"What its true! We were just there to help them! We didn't get shit! They were the Heroes and we are the stupid shit bags that are there to hold them back and stop them for our own fucking selfish needs! They were meant to do something! We aren't!" Roxy started to sniffle and she wiped her nose.

"We-we are just the roads blocks that are failures to help anyone who needed it. We a-are the useless ones, the ones t-to be left with the burden of that w-we can't do anything right." Roxy started to wipe the tears going down her face. "We couldn't even protect the ones closest to us."

We all started a group hug, "time to prove life that it's fucking wrong." Dirk looked at all of us with a smirk on his face. I smiled, "Hell yes."

Day had passed since the confession from the two, what Roxy said stayed in our minds. She may be right but we can still change our fate. There might be a puppeteer to our little sick game of life, but we are going to cut the strings and make the show our way. The is no way we are going to let life screw us over again.

I looked at the shades John gave me for my birthday. I miss him a lot but I always feel like he's there but when I turn around I see nothing but leaves being blown in the wind. Rose has been looking for a way to bring them back but the only person who knows has disappeared from humanity. No one knows where he has gone too but I will find him and bring my best friends back no matter how long it takes me.

Once we arrive we forgotten that we had to show the new kids around. I ran to the office but it looked like we were very early today even with the announcement from the two Lalonde's. Ms. Triple [my fav teacher :P] was in the office organizing a few papers stacks.

Ms.Triple noticed me once when I walked into the office. "Ahh Dave your early, you should go out your away and please bring Rose with you she will help you with the new children." Mrs. Triple never looked away from her work but I could tell she wasn't in the brightest mood right now, she looked at me and I nodded.

I saw two kid stumble into the building I was going to talk to them but Rose beat me to the punch. "Hello there you must be Joey and Jude am I correct?" Rose gave a small smile while I remained with my cool kid Facade. The girl spoke up, "Yes we are, I'm Joey Claire and my relative Jude Harley, Nice to meet you." She stuck her hand out while Jude just waved.

Rose and I shook Joey's hand, "Sup my Name is Dave and this is my sister Rose." Joey was very exited to go to a new school and meet new people on the other hand Jude was extremely nervous with all of this. "Don't be nervous dude it's not that bad plus you get to chill with the cool kids all day." I cocked my head towards Jude.

"Okay since Joey and I have the exact same schedule were off." Rose started to walk away. "Bye Dave! Bye Jude! See you guys later!" Joey yelled down the hall. "Well they're gone, we have the same schedule lets just stick together and let's go to class before we're late." I looked at Jude who was a wreck. "Y-yeah lets go."

Hey guys like the first chapter? Sorry about Joey and Jude if you don't like them and think there replacing John and Jane. Well they are replacing them, for now.
