Imprint?! I thought.

"What the hell..." I accidently thought out loud and slapped my hand over my mouth. "Seth's" face turned from a stare into a huge grin. Jacob just couldn't stop laughing in the backround. Ass. My hand slid off my face. I was sweating like mad. Maybe its just the half-naked boy standing in front of you. I thought. Or maybe because these aren't the right "people" to get involved with.Right. I heard foot steps coming up from behind me. And Seth was starting to walk closer. I needed to act fast. My eyes looked around desperately for an escape. The woods were thin and looked somewhat easy to tread. But, lucky me, sprinting wasn't my specialty. I looked over again quickly to my path. "Well, I guess I can say congrat- HEY!" Jacob yelled after me as I sprinted through the forest. Planning never to return. My life was complicated enough. The cold wind was nipping as my face as I raced for my life. I stumbled a little but manage to keep going. "HEY, wait! Just wait a minute!" A boys voice called to me. Seth. Imprint, yeah right. I laughed and looked back. He was following, still clinging to my presence. I whipped my head back around only to see the fallen tree. Not stopping fast enough and tripping and slamming my head on the covered forest floor. Then black out.

Well, I told you i couldn't run. What did you expect? For me to get away, all safe and sound? If you haven't noticed, this isn't your average fairytale.

I woke up on my bed. The ceiling white, perfect and clear. Thats weird, I thought, I remember a poster.Sitting up, I felt no pain. Anywhere. I look down at my arms, no bruises."Huh" I say confused, but happy. Suddenly hearing noises downstairs, I am there. Standing in front of my dad, mom and... Seth. My father is holding a gun to Seth who's on the floor with a shocked look. My mother is, as usual, cowarding behind my father."What are you doing?" i ask casually. My father speaks without looking at me,"He wants to take you away from us."

"So? What if i want to?! Finally get away from this abuse?!"

He turns to me, pointing the gun at my only vulnerable spot. My heart.I breathing slows and i prepare for the end. But Seth doesn't let go that easy. He jumps up and tackles my mother and father to the hardwood floors. I look away before they hit the floor, and when I look back, I'm sitting on the floor and my parents are gone. Seth is crouching in front of my with his warm hand on my cheek. I grab this forearm and push it away. He gives me a surprised angered look, then grabs me by the neck and slams my against the hollow wall. His face looks tortured as he pulls back this fist, as to hit me. "I will have you" he snarls at me and I scream as his fist barrels toward me.

Then I wake to the reality. Which isn't much happier than my dreams. I gasp sitting upward. My eyes are still closed as I control my breathing. "Is she having a seizer?" Asks an annoyed woman's voice.

"Yes Leah, everyone has seizers after wiping out." Someone replies back with a familiar voice. Jacob. I open my eyes slowly to dim lighting, to see the one person I was dreading to see."AHH!" I scream, sliding to the farthest corner of the couch. Seth gives me a confused look while a few others just laugh. Great, glad to know I please someone. I take a deep breath and slowly move my hand down my face."Oh my god." I mutter to myself.

"Wow, awesome pick Seth. An emo-pycho path." Says some older looking guy, laughing.

"Shut up Paul, at least I did." Said Seth not taking his gorgeous brown eyes off of me... "Holy shit." I think out loud, running my hand through my oily hair. I can't even begin to imagine how I look. Pain fills my head, arms, stomach and legs. Aching pain. I try to forget and look around the small, crowded room. A cabin. It has a nice warm, inviting feeling. Even with 7 half naked men and 1 half naked woman. One other woman was(fully clothed) walking over to me with a bowl and a rag in her hands. She was beautiful. In a sort of Indian way. Her long dark hair covered her face, so I couldn't see much. "Be nice. She's had a hard day." she says and comes to sit next to me. She smiles and gives me the rag. Its sightly damp so i guess its for my face. I start wiping slowly and she tucks the hair on her left side of her face behind her ear. Revealing the scars. I was startled at first, but looked away quickly. They trailed down her face like scratch marks. I looked around the room again and stopped at the oldest looking man. He gave me a look like, don't ask don't tell. "I'm Emily, by the way." The woman tells me. "Bethany." I reply and smile. She seemed like the only sane person here. I handed her the rag back and she hands me the bowl, but I reject. "Im fine thanks."

"It will help with the pain."

I sigh and take the hot bowl. Soup. Classic. What happened to medication? Emily gets up and walks away to the kitchen. "Well, she seems fine. Cmon' Jacob." Says the woman named Leah.

"Yeah.... Mmm Seth?" Jacob asks and nods toward the door. I take a sip of the soup as the warm kills the cold. Seth takes his eyes off me and looks over to Jacob and "Leah".

"You go ahead. I need to make sure she's well."

"She's FINE Seth. Let's get out of here!" Leah orders Seth.

"No god Leah! Can everything just not be all about you for once?!" Seth barks back at them. He was really upset over staying here. With me... I took one last sip and set the bowl on the table. Swung my legs off the couch, kicking Seth in the butt. I stood up with Seth not far behind. "Um, thank you. But, I need to go." I announced and started out around the people. Something caught my wrist and whipped me around, spinning my brain. Seth's face was soon near mine and I could feel his warm breath. We lock eyes and I get that feeling of being the only to people on the earth. His warm hand slides down my arm and into my own. I feel fear, pain, shock and confusion. And something else, building in my sore stomach. But it doesn't hurt, it was light and fuzzy. It was the most amazing feeling, and then I knew. Gazing into those incredible brown eyes, I had fallen for the perfect stranger.
